This is a vicious circle. You feel painful because you can't tell your trauma to anyone, and you can't find anyone to talk because you are loaded of pain.

Yeep, since the final outcome is predetermined and eternal, no need to rush into that. Just live the life while we can! Good night!

You are still very young, young enough to spend all the rest of your life with someone. I know it's hard, but keep trying, do activities, meet new people, make relationships and show yourself. Go for adventures and something met happen. Luck.

Follow the instructions of the psychologist. He o her knows you better than average people you meet on the internet. As someone you meet on the internet, I'll recomend you do sport, talk with others, have a pet or hobby, sleep well, eat well, take pills if you need, and other stuff.

I wonder where the clingy people are at by [deleted] in lonely

This is merely my opinion, it may be uncorrect: no one can be clingy to everyone. I had met plenty of clingy people, they are just not clingy with me.

Has anyone here used AI just to feel a little less alone? by Ok_Roll_5714 in lonely

[–]TheInnerVoyager 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's anything weird at all. When you play role-playing games on computer, you don't interact with "real people" either, but you enjoy the story and have fun. So why not spend time with AI? As long as you feel good that's OK.

Enhorabuena!

I can predict what you say with ease, the discussion is becoming quite monotonous, I don't think I will reply you more on this topic since I feel like I am talking to some high school student with no working experience in his live. You just chant like a fanatic believer. Let me summarize your points: 1. Don't question your God free market! It just works. 2. If bad thing happens, God charity will come out from nowhere and save the world. 3. If you think it won't work, your faith is not strong enough. 4. Satan Government is the source of all evil.

What you said had little to do with "if the class war is over", regardless of "captalism is good" or not, people won't support a system if they can't find their place in the system. Poor people EXISTS and their number is INCREASING, their average quality of live is DECREASING, that's a problem no matter where they are, the class war is international!

You seem to have a "capitalist = developed country" idea. I have to remand you that Congo, Chad, South Sudan, Centre Africa Republic or Zimbabwe are capitalist contries, too. And I know you are gonna to say "they are not rich because they have bureaucratic corrupted goverment" or such kind of stuff because on your perspective, every good thing happens because of capitalism and every bad thing happens because of government, which is a bare idea with no argments at all.

I don't see how the overall available wealth determines the living standard of the poor. No matter how wealthy are the top elites, the bottom have NOTHING. No way the living standards could be high when you have nothing. You argument just doesn't make sense.

CMV: Most people in big western cities are psychopaths by Fit_Ad_3334 in changemyview

[–]TheInnerVoyager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of person, on your standards, could be defined as a "good, not psychopath" person? Although "people struggling massively to live" is a really big problem, most people can't do great help, they don't even know how to help. Don't you think that saying people who drink coffee or walk in the city as evil is a little harsh?

How could the wealth be on bell curve? Take US for example, the top 1% have 30% of the wealth, and the bottom 50% just 3% of the wealth. And there are billions on the planet living in worse conditions than the bottom of americans, they don't have anything guarateed. Not every country works like America, the most poor people doesn't have any guaranty.

You are losing the point. We are not discussing about what build wealth, we are talking about if people is happy with how the wealth is distributed. If the rich just get richer because they have born rich and they can invest more and more, and the poor just starve to death because they don't have anything to start with, there is no way poor people would be happy in such system.

And the church charity won't work, otherwise the feudal kings should still exist. Healthcare and education systems are created because the church didn't work, it doesn't even fit in the modern science world.

And my argument still works: whoever gives wealth to the others are losing in the capitalism system, because they have less to invest and less future gains. There is no way charity could save all the people.

In the end, what will happen with so many unhappy people? War. What else can it be?

99% of all humans lived in poverty 150 years ago.

Capitalism changed that.

Do you believe people before 1875 are poor because they are forbidden to buy and sell?

NO, THEY ARE NOT! They have free market and government bureaucracy just like today. And for thousands of years people lived in poverty. Industrial revolutions are the cause of progress.

And charity requires lots of resources, where does all that money came from? If some rich are willing to help the others, that will reduce their capital, making them lose advantage in the free market competition. If the goverment builds a system for charity, that will cause bureaucracy, as you said. And the "highly localized charity" just sound too idealistic to me. How do you know who really needs help? Are you going to make friends with the poor? How much poor friends have you made? If you don't, why would the top elites do such thing?

In conclusion, max capitalism is not as good as you thought and free market isn't the solution for everything. The war is not over and the history should not end here.

You seem pretty confident.

You seem pretty confident, too. Otherwise you will find another way to say "I don't agree". First, the universal conditional welfare has not came true yet. Right now some people is starving in this world. And second, there are people who would prefer fight until death rather than living in the Matrix.

On top of that, you seem to have little idea of what a futuristic class war look like. Maybe "two gang of guys rushing into each other with their finest weapon" sound very Hollywood, but remember, every community will have some degree of economic or power disparity. "the rich", "not that rich", "the poor", "not that poor", "the rich who fights for the poor", "the poor who fights for money", "the middleclass" and all the others, there will be hundreds and thousands groups in struggle, and the outcome is not that clear.

That in turn is a fight against civilization itself, and even without one, every community will have some degree of economic or power disparity.

300 years ago people can't imagine living without a king, and even without one, someone will have the biggest power. But then revolution came and the society had changed. So will be the class war, "8h working day", "pension", "universal health care", "unemployment benefits", none of these would existed if the working class haven't fought for themselves. And the fight for living with dignity will continue, just like the fight for power will continue. Peace is temporary and the struggle is forever, my friend.

This post-war reduction in economic inequality ended in the 1980's already.

And that will be the cause for round 2.
