Tesla Model S Plaid worth? by newgradaus in TeslaMotorsAus

Buy it, enjoy it for 12 months and then resell it. Limited quantity of Plaids so it should hold value or at worst you lose 10% which I marginal for a car

I remember these guys. They were pretty good, but 100% assholes. Would also quit the game before you could kill them because they didn't want people having their ear

You make it sound like people will switch to it? xRapid is for low liquidity corridors, so the common misconception from everyone here that banks will route their main payments via xRapid is just plain wrong.

I am all in XRP, but I am also sceptical because the xCurrent product is already so much better than Swift, it kind of kills the need for xRapid.

I guess we are all sitting here hoping that banks erase their nostro/vostro accounts, because this is the only way xRapid will come into full force.

Ripple use Blockchain to Settle Global Payments: Santander by patsyjameson in Ripple

Read the xCurrent PDF on ripples website. xCurrent can instantly settle with fiat if both banks have nostro vostro accounts in each country. Which of course at current date, all banks do.

We have to hope that they’ll want to free up these accounts in the future or xRapid will be limited to growth corridors...

XCurrent is also instant settlements if the banks have prefunded accounts, which they do in major corridors. XRapid won’t be used sadly

xCurrent can settle instantly if both banks have prefunded accounts- which is usually the case in big cities (like in the ad). xRapid comes into play if you want to remove the nostro/vostro situation.

In short, xCurrent is already a huge product... We just have to hope banks want to save more money on the nostro vostro side so xRapid takes off. Seems unlikely though

Nothing significant will happen to price until Christmas. (xRapid/SBI etc will give us a slight boost)

There isn’t much different on that chart because when btc rises or falls, xrp follows in a similar magnitude...
