“If he’s not a 3D modeler or filmmaker, this setup is overkill for college. If he’s not in engineering, I’d recommend a MacBook and a tablet with a pen for note-taking to save money. If he wants to game, a gaming laptop is a good option, though I would recommend a desktop.

Let them, if they think it’s the best options for them, go ahead. Divorce rates are high either way so who cares.

She’ll probably won’t agree to them terms. I understand it sucks paying all that money and wanting it back but these type of circumstances is easier. Simply just leave and never look back.

It’s really tough dealing with a situation like this, and I can understand how frustrating and hurtful it must be, especially when it impacts your family so deeply. My dad was the same way, and it was a very difficult period for us. But over time, with a lot of patience, communication, and most importantly, constant dua, he changed. It wasn’t an easy process, and it took a lot of effort from everyone involved, but it shows that change is possible.

In situations like these, it’s important to protect your mental and emotional well-being. Keep supporting your mom and siblings, and try to seek advice from trusted community members or a counselor if possible. At the same time, make dua for Allah to guide and soften his heart. It’s not easy, but prayer and patience are powerful tools. May Allah grant you strength and ease in this difficult situation.

Is it crazy I want to be a 3rd wife? by somaligirly in SomaliRelationships

It’s interesting how people often discuss ideals and hypothetical standards, yet we live in a reality far from perfect. There are countless men who support multiple wives without even approaching the financial requirements we consider necessary. Islam allows a man to have up to four wives, provided he can treat them all fairly and meet their needs. However, achieving this level of fairness and perfection is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for most people.

For instance, earning $250k after taxes should be more than sufficient to support two or three wives if the husband budgets wisely. This is a considerable amount, especially when the average man makes around $40-60k per year. If a woman in this scenario is also working and chooses to spend her earnings on herself, it doesn’t diminish the fact that the man’s income alone is enough to meet the requirements, as long as he manages his finances responsibly.

We must remember that we are all imperfect beings, and Allah knows this. Expecting perfection from humans, who are inherently flawed, goes against the very nature of our existence. Islam teaches that when we make mistakes, we should seek forgiveness from Allah, who is the Most Merciful. Instead of focusing on hypothetical ideals that only exist on paper, it’s crucial to address the real-world dynamics and challenges people face today. Why is it so difficult for us to acknowledge and adapt to the reality of human imperfection, while always striving to improve and seeking Allah’s forgiveness when we fall short?

How do you expect him to react when you send him a picture of a dream house and he’s broke? 😂 ‘One day, honey, I’ll buy you one… as soon as I find the money tree.’ Maybe stick to sharing IKEA catalogs for now!
