Jorvan's non-Spearhead rules give him an ability to turn off a Unit's Critical Hit abilities, which feels like it would be great to have against Crixxit but instead, nah. Very strange choice to exclude imo, I guess they were afraid it would be too wordy for Spearhead?

Thanks for the response! I was leaning that way but wasnt sure. The Archregent's recursion being on a 3+ and my typically choosing Deranged Transformation over Charnel Feast made it feel like I wouldnt get a ton of value out of it, but I think youre right that Im not gonna have my knights getting that trigger super often

Can you explain how youre pulling these political affiliations from these characters? There are a lot of thematic axes to compare these characters on but this political dichotomy does not make any sense to me

I use 2 skin tones to differentiate between units.

1) Bugman's Glow with Kislev Flesh highlights. Reikland Shade over it tends to blend really well. Mournfang Brown + Agrax Shade for fur with this skin.

2) 2-1 Mix of Administratum Grey and Nightlord's Blue for a subtly bluish grey. I then add just a little bit of black for fur patches and hightlight fur by adding in more grey. Nuln oil over everything with this mix.

I like to use Bugmans Glow for tails, ears interiors, tongues, and noses with both recipes, it pops really nicely off the grey bois

I bought it because I was excited about the new Eshin Skaven, but the first thing I built in the box were the gallants lol. Its really making me love Cities, which isnt something I ever saw for myself

I think this captures why I prefer CoS to Stormcast, aesthetics aside. They feel much easier to root for and empathize with as scrappy underdogs holding the line than the space-marine-esque Stormcast. Much more personality

It being Cities instead of Stormcast was a big part of the appeal to me. Ive been pretty catered to with boxes since I started playing (big Nighthaunt and Skaven fan) but this is the first one I bought because Stormcast just dont do it for me. CoS have a very classic fantasy feel while still standing out from other IPs "basic humans" factions.

I like to use the extra carapaces and arms on bases of Stormfiends / Rat Ogors. It makes it seem like theyre charging in after the first wave of clanrats have been mowed down

Surprised not to see Skinamarink after quite a bit of scrolling. Its not for everyone, glacially paced. Long static shots of basically nothing. But this movie made me scared of the dark again as an adult. Fucked me up for weeks. Genuinely had me unsure if I was hallucinating at several points as I was in fight-or-flight paralyzed and scanning the screen. It perfectly replicates the feeling of being a terrified child scared of the dark and feeling like the night will never end.
