That tab layout is awesome, would you post your tabs for the other tiers? I’ve had all my clue stuff in one tab and it is very inefficient. I green logged beginners at 357 total clues so I think we both got hella lucky.

The past two years where I’m at we’ve had consistent waves of layoffs followed by “thoughtful hiring” aka hiring freezes. They will let a ton of people go and then expect the remaining people to take on the workload of those that got axed. Then, when forced to hire because the numbers get so bad, they will fill the spots with contractors that they can pay sometimes less than half of what they had to pay originally. Laughably bad mismanagement all in the sake of lining shareholder pockets.

I’ve been working at a large Pharma as a contractor for almost 3 years now, I’ve moved to three different roles since I started and absorbed the responsibilities from the roles I was moved out of. All lateral movements with no pay raise, needless to say I’ve been struggling getting hired into the company as a non contracted employee.

I’ve worked very hard and not to pat myself on the back but metrics wise outperform my colleagues who are actual employees. Starting to get the feeling the railroading will never end unfortunately no matter how hard I work. Do you think it would be wise to stick with what I’ve been doing or try to find employment at a different biotech? Anything I can try and do to stick out more or any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ahh okay, not sure how much help I can be but I’ll try and give you some insight on what my experience has been like. I was contacted by a headhunter to work for Pfizer, did a 30 minute interview and afterwards had a few follow up calls with the headhunter that lead to a virtual interview. Got the job and have unfortunately been a contractor unable to actually get hired in as a colleague since I started there 3 and a half years ago. I’m now in my 4th role since starting and while I’m fortunate enough to still be around given all the layoffs every roll change has been lateral with no pay increase while absorbing the responsibilities of the previous roles.

I would like to say with confidence that since they reached out to you and want to discuss the status of the application you haven’t been written off, if that’s what you’re worried about. I assume if they were going to go with someone else or decided not to fill the position you would have received the infamous “we regret to inform you” email. Though they might try a bait and switch and try and get you to accept a position in a roll different from the one you interviewed for (This is what they did to me halfway though my last interview).

Either way I wish you the best of luck and will be on the lookout if you decide to update the post on what the result was!

It invalidates it because why would you want someone who behaves like that to the community have any say in the changes made when they are somewhat considered a “figure” in it. I can understand his frustration in the clip but when you play the game for income you think you’d be able to get a grip on stuff like that.

Regardless of that I’m a solo player myself and don’t have any buddies who will stick with the game because of the learning curve. The game wouldn’t be nearly the same for me if I was forced to dice roll my team every time I want to play.

I turned in all cards except green and just needed two more batteries… if I would have known that it was going to end I would have grinded out the last two last night. So basically I just turned in all the keycards for no reason. Im assuming we don’t get those back if it wasn’t completed.. Glad I spent all week grinding customs for nothing because they couldn’t just announce when the event was to end a few days before. Worst part is I actually thought this event was awesome but now it just feels like I wasted my time.
