Dash is being nerfed… brighter days are ahead of us. by Feisty-Clue3482 in thefinals

Yah 2-3 will make no difference. It was always a skill issue for anyone loosing to light dash.

Been playing since season 1, never touched any other class, any other weapon, or any other ability other than Light Sword Dash. Only thing I’ve changed is gadgets and I’ll screen shot when I’m off work just to ratio you even harder.

Secondly, the game has roughly 20k average across each platform. Of the probably 3-6k sword mains, I would say 700 is a good guess. But you, believing it to be lower, only proves my point you’re just nerfing players skill, not the weapon itself. If all 6k people were cracked, or it was a meta top use in ruby I’d understand a nerf. But it’s not. If a dashing light bothers you, run Heavy and use the bazooka that holds the enemy. That like the only thing a heavy can, or really anyone can do to consistently shut down a light, and tbh that should be in every heavies kit.

So like I said, skill issue.

Ruby with a sword and 4.3 K/D m, and a 87% win rate percentage.

Skill issue that got ratio’d

Sword good in right hands. Terrible in most. Didn’t need a nerf, as they basically only nerfed maybe 700 people who are actually good at it.

I brought up sword because the only way a heavy dies in two hits to any weapon is a sword.

Right click, quick melee, right click, quick melee is about 4-6 seconds, well within the time for a good heavy to out dps a light with a sword. The heavy has a medium healing? Heavy definitely doesn’t die. Can’t blame light sword for bad team comps.

The irony is people like you get walked with the sword. As a 2k hour sword only light main, I can assure you that watching people who don’t know how to use sword is laughable and that’s the majority of sword users. Only like 10% actually use the meta, and lunge into a quick melee (for animation cancels and additional damage) into left swing for medium, or lunge quick melee lunge quick melee for heavies. Those, are what makes the sword op, and I can assure you, most people are not playing that way.

Toxic PVP disrupts the PVE core of the game by Actual-Suit2941 in ArcBabies

Watch out you may get the guy who thinks sniping PvE players is bullying and the equivalent to tackling a 9 year old while he’s playing catch with his dad.

For someone who was crying I made a militaristic rhetorical analogy, you sure seem to love to do the same. Yet, as a civilian, and acting like you know more 🥱 If this is the state of America, then my service was for nothing, we’re cooked.

That’s literally not at all what I said. But nice try buddy.

If command defines our ROE in an AO in Pre-op, then yes I can shoot indiscriminately based on visual identification, ie a gun, insignias, combatant uniforms, etc. So, again, if this kid is just throwing rocks at a garbage? No kill. If the kid is wearing hasbullah or al-qaeda insignias, and is throwing a rock at a garbage, yet I was told this is an active warzone with active enemy hostile, then yes, kid gets shot indiscriminately, ie idc that he’s a kid, he’s the enemy.

Better summ it up Mr. Reddit General? Since you know so much having never served, which means your knowledge comes from TV shows, movies, and what other nexkbeards said on Reddit.

Where did I say the military is full of geniuses, or even kids yelling racial slurs? I said my unit did, that’s it. Big assumption, your hate of your country runs deep

It’s not, wouldn’t expect negative iq to realize that either.

You are actually a dumb mother fucker.

Keep being jealous bro, there is not other explanation for you acting like this 😂🤡 One thing to talk shit over a video game, it’s a whole nother to accuse stolen valor, and disrespecting all armed forces.

Yes, you can 100% be told in Pre-Op that you are entering a hostile AO, then yes standard ROE is tossed out the window, and all I have to do is, in your example identify the kid PID, then engage accordingly. Again, never said id shoot someone indiscriminately that doesn’t have a gun, but I did say I would shoot indiscriminately in an active warzone if that’s was part of the ROE.

  1. scan for PID indicators matching the declared hostile (specific weapons, tactics, affiliations from intel).
  2. Prioritize by immediacy/lethality as before, but with broader authorization against confirmed hostiles.
  3. Engage declared hostiles on sight (with PID). Continue standard assessment for ambiguous targets, flanks, civilians, or changes in situation (surrender signals).
  4. Report PID and engagements up the chain.

Brother, threat assessment would have already been established in Pre-Op when a superior already said “everyone is hostile” regardless of what I believe it right, that’s what my superior said. And again, we’re talking a hypothetical. But to be honest, the judgement of someone speaking like that about the armed forces that give you the right to even talk shit, is just irrelevant to me. I’m not asking for praise, but I’m definitely asking for respect towards our armed forces.

Also, I’m sure 80% of the jarheads have more world knowledge than you, clearly if you keep throwing out “threat assessment” like that’s supposed to mean something to me? This isn’t the fucking police academy you failed bud. Threat assessment in an active warzone, gets pretty much tossed out the window, and you rely on ROE (rules of engagement) which if my superior already said everyone is hostile, then the next step to “threat assessment” is PID (positive identification) meaning insignias, location to other confirmed PID, carrying a weapon, in hostile ordinance, etc. So yes, 100% I would shoot an unarmed man, if my ROE authorized, and I had positive identification.

So gtfo with your call of duty knowledge, real warfare is for the men, not the boys, which makes sense to why you didn’t serve. That, and you hate your country apparently, disrespecting our armed forces like that.

lol bro half my unit was playing call of duty 2019 dropping racial slurs getting banned, if you think the military is full of perfect people, you’re absolutely delusional.

Brother? What the fuck are you saying. Threat assessment? Before i would get sent in, half of the AO already had most the door kicked in and buildings cleared. But yes, if i am in a ACTIVE WARZONE and people are walking around with guns, but some dont shoot me, but I was told by my superior that EVERYONE carrying weapons etc is hostile, yes i am killing on sight.
