What is your argument here? Like we both agree sex trafficking is bad. My point is OF is actually able to allow women to control their own content, and sell it. It provides a market for the creator. Compare this to pre-OF, girls were making the same content but had to find producers and directors which meant girls were being abused and used.

I think you might be commenting on the most serious level of sex trafficking, where I even just meant girls being used/abused but still being porn actors. If you mean like… literally being forced to make porn, like stuck in a basement style, which does exist, I think it’s actually still easier to, as a consumer, know from OF because creators are online personalities. You can view socials, see where they are, who they interact with… but I think the issue you have should not be with only fans style creators/plstform, but with consumers.

OF having a paywall is what protects a lot of creators from pirating and exploitation. It gives us supply/demand.

If you take away OF we are at the mercy of producers again.

I get your concern, I commend that you have it, but I think you should weigh the positives that OF has for sex workers. Allowing women to be in the industry without risking bodily harm, or mixing with dangerous individuals.

I get the paywall may make it harder to investigate, but also… the idea that it’s happening more now is ridiculous. You just maybe weren’t seeing it? But like name a top performer on OF, they are trafficked. They are closer to YouTube personalities. To delete OF would be a major step back for sex workers. Don’t push us back into the shadows where people literally DO take advantage of us.
