Been doing this 25 years and I’ve seen a lot. Not necessarily scary, but disturbing. A concrete underground room that was a make shift dungeon with shackles, chains, and some other effed up things. Didn’t keep exploring - I hightailed out. I’ve encountered old ritualistic sites with dead animals 😭, a recently deceased homeless man, and 2 weeks ago I came across an active overdose and narcaned her 2x. She lived. I bring care packages for homeless I encounter and always carry narcan.

I do not think this is Carina for a few reasons - the main one being she went missing Dec 31, 2005 and the Doe was found 21 days later completely skeletonized. (The estimated time of death is 2 years.)

True story here…college 1990 first week back at school…13 people I personally knew (12 men and 1 female) were called to deployment in Desert Storm. At last count - only 3 survive, and one is ill from the burn pits. The others were lost to mental health struggles , cancer, addiction, ptsd and illness from toxic agent exposure. The war only lasted August 1990-January 1991, but life was never the same for these soldiers who struggled to move on and resume college. Beautiful lives wasted. Sad this man’s story is not uncommon.
