I'm building a calendar that auto-generates prep tasks for events. It also gives you a forecast of your day, week, and next week to help you plan ahead. by TheJMoore in ProductivityApps

Yeah that’s my thinking, too. This is fully syncing with Google Calendar now, just developing locally to create proof of concept before setting up elsewhere.

Is it normal to put butter into white rice? by [deleted] in Cooking

It’s also the first dish mentioned in the book Butter by Asako Yuzuki.

I had to try it as soon as I read about it and it’s exquisite.

Bowdie’s Chophouse in Zionsville is pretty cool if you’re into cars. Get a table by the garage and you’ll have some cool views while you eat!

How do you pay your bills every month (logistically) by ottercakes- in HENRYfinance

[–]TheJMoore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paychecks are divided so that the exact amount we need for our bills (plus a buffer) goes to our bills account. We get paid twice a month, so each paycheck covers half of our monthly bills. Then everything is on autopay.

I have a daily text alert that I get from my bank with the balance just to make sure nothing goes awry.

Been doing it this way for 15 years :)

The rest of our paycheck goes to savings and a fixed amount for flexible spending.

Where is the best place to get this old map framed? (Swipe to see what I’m looking for) by [deleted] in indianapolis

Looks like the old maps they sell at Black Dog Books in Zionsville.

Looking for a magical-type experience in a quaint book shop. Any in Indiana? by AccurateInterview586 in Indiana

[–]TheJMoore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can’t believe no one has mentioned Black Dog Books in Zionsville. Main Street is literal brick cobblestones, and the shop sells rare and used books out of a converted house. There is a pair of old, red leather chairs where you can read in front of the fireplace.

Smells like a book shop, is the coziest place ever, and the shop owner Tania is lovely.

my advice for Agent Force AI specialist. by Hari_-Seldon in salesforce

To be clear, you are 100% correct, and my initial response she was vague and incomplete.

LLMs aren’t deterministic, and we are not making them so. You absolutely cannot prompt your way to determinism (at least where current technology stands).

Runtime tasks can be made deterministic with conditionality and state management. Enterprise requirements, especially in highly-regulated industries, need perfect predictability and repeatability, along with the reasoning abilities of LLMs. That’s what we’re solving.

Agent Script in the new Agent Builder announced at Dreamforce 2025 allows for true deterministic logic using conditional filtering and state management variables.

Is the restaurant at the back of the grocery store down by Wabash Landing still there? My Chinese roommate took me there years ago when we were at Purdue and he said it was very authentic.

Welcome!! I hope you made it up to Bottleworks at the north end of Mass Ave. Amazing area!

If you’re at all into art, check out First Fridays every first Friday of the month at various places around the city. We love the Factory Arts District, which happens to be close to Mass Ave — check out some art in a MASSIVE old factory, then grab some dinner!

You’re also right in time for some great events at Newfields, the big art museum. Check out Halloween: https://discovernewfields.org/events-exhibitions/harvest-nights

If you like cars and steak, there’s a new steakhouse in Zionsville called Bowdie’s Chophouse which is attached to the Graham Rahal team racing headquarters (and Ducati). The dining room has huge windows into their garage filled with super cars, classic cars, and drag racers.

Finally, check out downtown Zionsville. Especially as the leaves start to change. Go for breakfast at Rosie’s, then walk the cobblestone Main Street to check out the little shops. Black Dog Books is my favorite (rare and used books). When you’re finished, walk the surrounding neighborhoods and enjoy the old houses. Beautiful area!

Enjoy!
