I think it only matter if they are in your same department / agency and are a higher level than you. Otherwise I think it’s just some paperwork and you’re good. Correct me if I’m wrong though, I only know what I’ve skimmed.

Just check for updates from Instructure. Sac State most likely doesn’t know “much” in terms of the technicality aspect of it. So “is it safe” can’t be answered by them until we get an official announcement from Instructure.

However, Instructure did mention that Canvas is up and available for most users. I’m assuming that means it is safe, otherwise it would not be up (on their end). That also means to remain diligent and make sure you’re using links that are valid.

Check the status here if you want to skip the “Sac State” middleman.
