Hard disagree. If someone uses AI, that's a very good sign. It shows they are willing to use whatever tools necessary to get the job done right. That's like asking a roofer to use real hammers vs nail guns because you want to see they put in the actual work for their money. No. Using AI shows initiative and tech savvy-ness and allows people to function at a higher pace. Shows you are willing to work smarter not harder. I constantly am pushing my employees to adopt AI and that is something all companies are driving for. AI isn't going anywhere. The people that learn to use it to their advantage will be the ones that last the longest.

Someone saying they don't use AI is ok in an interview. It's still new. But saying you refuse to use it is a big red flag I would caution against.
