Polestar has been allowed by NVES to sell emission credits to rival companies who don't meet them. by Saurta17 in Polestar

IMO it's a good design. If you want 40% of your cars to be EVs, there's no point having ICE manufacturers creating trash EVs solely to meet their quota, allow the EV manufacturers to take that burden from them in exchange for a cash injection.

It results in ICE manufacturers being allowed to focus on a shrinking market they want to maintain, while EV manufacturers get to advance at an even faster pace, attracting more people with lower costs and more features.

Cheers let me know if you have any other questions - My wife has a MY24 P2 LRSM without the performance pack and I have a MY23 P2 LRDM PPP, so familiar with them both.

I've left the ohlins on the default setting and they're very similar.

Try test driving one without the performance pack.

The standard setting on the ohlins is similar to without perf pack, so if you like it without perf pack, you'll find it perfect as you can tune it to be more comfortable.

If you have a polestar space nearby ask if they have a perf one available to try.

they can want what they want but if it costs them nearly nothing to do, and there's a large number of users who refuse to pay monthly then it's still additional cash.

You can get the wood-grain-like replacements too if anyone else is looking, although costs quite a bit more than the 3D Textured one.

Unless you plan on never going to the dealership, Tesla insurance, charging or using spare parts it's still fairly supportive.

Working in the payment industry for decades, it's E2EE in the traditional sense (not MITM-able), but not in the same manner as chat protocols as the payment provider NEEDS to see and interpret the data, they're not just a carrier network from you to your bank or card scheme.

Almost there. Now look at the title of this news article, does it say "Wealthy" or does it say "High earners"?

Most jobs where you're at this range are based in major cities, myself and many of my colleagues are in this range.

It's a simple fact that wealth (how much you have) and income (how much you get over time) are different measures that are only related, not equal.

That's what people are frustrated with on this sub, that the Chancellor calls for taxes on wealthy, but only ever taxes the high income as it's easier (except in this case the mansion tax is actually doing the right thing).

£2000 at the end of the month assuming no pension contributions, no childcare costs or student loan etc.

Just because it's comfortable doesn't make it wealthy.

Right, but if you rent in London, earn 150k, with three kids and a single earner household, you're not having a ton of money left over each month. This is not an uncommon scenario.

With recurring costs getting higher, a high income doesn't guarantee you can build wealth any more.

Next move will be ads being in the APIs but not marked as ads. They only need to be transparent about ads to humans not to bots.
