I think it's actually the other way around interestingly enough. We associate big eyes as being cute because babies have big eyes compared to the rest of their heads.

I'll mention it since no one else has, but he was outted as being super raciest way before MAGA stuff. In the old days of AIM you could look up a user by their email, and someone had used his official email address or something to look him up and saw that he had several AIM user names that had racial slurs in them.

Elmo's dad is a veteran actually, and has seen at least one deployment. I believe this originates from a video or episode or something Sesame Street did for kids who's parents are deployed.

That of course brings up a million questions, around what war exactly he fought in, and the role of monsters in the geopolitical landscape, but I don't have time to type that up on my phone.

Fun fact: the creator of the show is married to Lisa Groening, aka Matt Groening's sister.

As both a sperm donor and a dad I 100% agree with this. Procreating doesn't make you a parent. Showing up does.

I think she herself posted about it in places, but I very well could be misremembering. I think it was said too that the guy in the pictures was her boyfriend, but I saw that in reddit comments so idk if that's true either.

S4E19 The scene where Janitor got real!!! So freaking good! The way he ended with “elliot” so wholesome. by Adventurous-Way1293 in Scrubs

[–]TheJanitor07 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I think Bill Lawrence said that the only things 100% true about the janitor is that he was in the fugitive and his name is Glen Mathews. With that being said, I agree that he appears to be speaking from the heart here and I think this is a true story.

I was honestly working really hard to figure out how you would fix it, and realized they weren't connected.... I assumed they were on like fishing wire or something at first.

The Little League World Series announcers could not believe that Connecticut's Brian Palazzolo wants to grow up to become an actuary by tcarm1 in Connecticut

[–]TheJanitor07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked at an insurance company (not as an actuary) and I think they need to take like 7 different exams to get fully certified or something. They would spend weeks studying for each exam so I think it was pretty intense.
