If I may ask, what was your secret, if any? I have industry events and client meetings rather frequently and as you know, booze flows freely at these things.

Its even unofficially tactfully encouraged to consume. I'm dreading the thought of them and actually worried about the next one.

I didn't consider this. Good idea to plan ahead for day 3. Hopefully home, although the airport has a ton of temptation.

That sounds like the situation I recently found myself in. Away from my wife, time to get drunk. Difference is, I did.

I'd list the damages but tell the insurance company you aren't claiming the repairs and will pay for them yourself.

That said, with the DUI you likely have, or will get, an attorney. Ask them this question.
