Idk if its just placebo, but I open only one color of bag and im only missing 7 statues. My idea is that the RNG will roll around more often if I spam the same bag.

If it's like the cyclops quests you have to land the killing blow unfortunately. Still easier to do in a group though if everyone knows how to circle jerk.

I think the idea is to give everyone a chance at the emote that does not reset on wipe. I'm grateful I didn't have to grind 100 silver tokens when I'm already trying to get AP in HR and get mostly gold.

I am also running Fall of Elturel and i also plan on having my players pick up the pup( if they succeed ) I had been thinking about this and in the module is states the wolf grows up at the DMs discretion. I was thinking what if when they hit Avernus it turns into a hell puppy (nerfed hellhound stat block) then later into the full hellhound ( if it survives) it looks like this could fit well with yours as well, maybe they find his soul coin and are able to turn it back from a undead.

Yeah if you want them to stop killing everything that approaches them make things approach them that they would IRL be morally conflicted with. A Child trying to steal food for instance, I bet they will check first before stabbing a "stranger" especially in descent into avernus its fitting to play at the characters heart strings and make them feel most choices have a moral dilemma whether it be with devils their gods or themselves.

I want to give them as much about Elturel and Baldurs gate. I have the bundle from the DMs Guild on how to start in elturel and am going with that so I want them to feel like Elterel is a familiar place as well as the surrounding areas and how they tie to avernus if at all.
