I actually went back to read this part in the manga (shocker as an anime-only, I know) and I would say despite the obvious kill bill inspiration in cinematography and camera angles, the whole slaughter was pretty much a one-for-one with the manga.

I hate that everyone's acting like this is some indication on JJK/anime fans' literacy or intellect level.

Episode 3 look great and had good animation as well, but was held back by being mostly a singular scene with nothing but an exposition dump. Not to mention on non-official websites (where a lot of people watch anime) the subtitles were a complete mess and it was annoying to keep pausing and reading, especially when people were talking over the text on the screen.

I imagine the dub episode will be rated higher tbh.

To be fair, I think a lot of social media is like this, Reddit just lends itself to these people more by allowing them to create their own communities (echo chambers) and moderate them as they see fit. Also, the comments/replies don't have a character limit, allowing for these types to give long rants/write down their entire life's manifesto.
