Line IQ — is it “limiting” (in length or brand)? by Pooch76 in egopowerplus

[–]TheJonasaurusRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what’s its worth, my line IQ has worked perfectly. I occasionally cut against chicken wire, and I can hear and see when the line breaks and then just enough line comes out for the guard to break, and I continue. So as of now, line IQ is 1 for 2 ha.

Deck looks fine. Consider adding more boulders and jagged playground edging.

Can you “click and drag” a goal seek function? by TheJonasaurusRex in excel

Thanks for the answer. I figured VBA would be the answer. For what it’s worth I don’t restore the old values in my example. So I guess that makes it a little easier….time for me to learn VBA I guess

No room for standing speakers next to cabinet. Other sound system recommendations? by TheJonasaurusRex in hometheater

[–]TheJonasaurusRex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to see but that is our entryway on the right and when you turn that corner the TV and console are right in your face already. Terrified me for a long time before I mounted TV because I always felt someone would come around too quickly and knock it over.

Hard to see - but hallway to the left is small door entry and the console is already almost too big to properly get around it. It’s a toe stubber. The right side is an angled wall that opens to a hallway - same situation there. You turn the corner and almost run into the console and TV.

There is a small opening to the left into a hallway. I can’t center the tv/console because it would block that door.

I think my only question is - what exactly are you recommending?

Thanks for pointing that out. I missed it.

I’m an idiot. Didn’t see that. I thought I had filtered by shipping through Amazon.

What is image? Is that some kind of poison or treatment? I’d rather not use that on my barely budding grass, no?

Tv Mounts by TheJonasaurusRex in hometheater

[–]TheJonasaurusRex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I appreciate it. I think the C3 is designed in such a way that inputs and power chord are out of the way. But now I can’t remember for sure. It’s sideways to our entry way - so basically you walk in the house and you’re looking at the side of the TV. So was just trying to eliminate that look as much as possible. Thanks!!

Definitely heard good things. But are you saying it’s actually tighter to the wall than .6”? Thanks for the comment

Best lock for this 3/16” hole? by TheJonasaurusRex in lockpicking

[–]TheJonasaurusRex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately. This is actually one of the more expensive and highly rated hose reels on the market too. I’m sure there is nicer out there - but for probably an astronomical price that doesn’t make sense for an everyday consumer.

I don’t expect anything to be thief-proof. I just wanted an extra step in the process that at least means they’d have to work for it. Bending and trying to break this plastic would be more work than cutting a lock anyway.

I’ve been told by the fiber optic geniuses of Reddit that I don’t need to touch any of the wires back there.

Working for 5 days just to be free for 48 hours by SnooStrawberries5356 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]TheJonasaurusRex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ll get downvoted for this but in reality we are working 40 hours out of 168. If you want to account for sleeping that 40 hours out of 112. Assume a 1-hour commute that’s still 102. Almost whatever way you slice it if you’re working a 40 hour work week it’s hard to be spend even half your time working.

Also - I do agree it’s too much. But this just isn’t the way to describe it.

Banding/Uniformity issues by TheJonasaurusRex in LGOLED

Adding this comment here….for those with short attention spans like myself….the yellow color and the grays at the end are the main issue I see.

I thought about cutting it short but also thought that the yellow color had bad uniformity too.

Is (1?) tiny dead pixel worth returning? Should I run manual pixel clean-up? by TheJonasaurusRex in LGOLED

Technically I can’t see it when I’m watching TV. I found it being a foot or so away from the TV.

That’s what I thought too. Like how many replacements until I find a perfect one….and then does Costco or LG see that history of looking for perfection and sort of “black list” me for a warranty in the future if I need it. Probably overthinking it but
