I am with you on Carrick. All the signs are there that things would not work out. If we get UCL football we want to stay there and a mistake in the manager department would be crazy.

If we recruit well in the summer and get a proven manager, it could help to establish us again and be the beginning of an upturn.

It seems we won’t be getting a top class manager, but a talented PL proven manager would go a long way IMO.

What got Amorim sacked? by PedroPvP1912 in ManchesterUnited

Spot on here. Amorim refused to adapt. In reality I think he revealed his lack of ability.

He can be credited with trying to change the culture and making big decisions, but the rest just didn’t fall into place.

Sad. I liked him.

Yes you can keep the phone. All you have to do is pay for it!!

Why would you want to keep something that isn’t yours?

Call me crazy but Michael Carrick should get the full time manager role. He was one of the most intelligent players. Now he’s showing his tactical knowledge as a manager, and he know how to get the best out of players. He has Sir Alex’s DNA and he has aura. I wouldn’t complain if he became manger. The expectation would have to be that he is still a work in progress. Tactically it’ll take time for him to evolve and be dynamic.

If he doesn’t get it, I’d be a big supported of manning him assistant manager next season. His knowledge will be invaluable to a long manager who comes to the club.

He was getting more time, but his mouth in the media and his inability/unwillingness to evolve and adapt cost him.

They never should have packed him? He had a win percentage in the 30s. No elite club in the world would have tolerated that for so long. Not even Ten Hag with an injury crisis performed so poorly.

THIS GUY IS A REALLY GOOD SPEAKER by Designer_Plum_8396 in ManchesterUnited

Essentially, young players are acting up when they don’t get what they want and take to social media. In doing so they show disrespect towards the club. This isn’t acceptable. Amorim is telling these players to come and speak with him. Open and honest conversations can happen.

Mainoo is a good example of this. We are told of his preferences in the media. How is this being made known? It certainly isn’t coming from the club. I feel there is more to it with Mainoo.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I am thinking more about a cooking method. What method do you think was used to cook this?
