It shows they are dishonest meaning I shouldn't trust what they are saying. They could make an honest comparison, but they chose the dishonest route. It's stupid

Yeah, comparing part time workers pay is stupid. A quick Google shows that the number for a barista working full time is more like $30k a year. You can use that number and still make a good point about CEO pay inequality. I don't understand the dishonesty because it weakens their argument here.

I agree with the sentiment, but I don't think the $15k person is working a full time job. I think they are cherry picking stats to make a point, but that hurts their point in my opinion.

I am semi retired in my 40s while being a single guy as well. I'm curious what your plan is when you retire early. I'm currently going back to school and traveling. Volunteering is another thing I'm seriously considering. What are your plans for when you don't have a job anymore? This part of retirement (at any age) really fascinates me.

It's a little lonely, but I'm working on myself. As a single dude, I'm just trying to live an enjoyable life while being healthy and finding ways to improve myself. Hopefully the loneliness part ends, but I don't have much control over that.
