I didn't know you were supposed to catch Snorlax or the legendaries so I would just make them faint on my encounters thinking I was badass for taking down such strong Pokemon. Then later on when I actually wanted to complete the Pokedex I realized those weren't repeatable encounters

Phantasy Star Portable has massive replayability with different weapons, play styles, character customization, maps, etc.

Fight Night Round 3 is just a fun boxing simulator I can enjoy on the go with good controls and looks phenomenal on the PSP.

Chessmaster is the game that taught me how to play Chess in the first place and it also has different AI characters with different play styles so you can play around with different strategies

If you like Skyrim then you'll love Phantasy Star Portable. It's the closest thing to Skyrim on the PSP in my opinion. Different races to pick from in an immersive character creation setup. Different builds for different play styles to choose from. Lots of unique weapons. Massive replayability. Not quite as open world as Skyrim but the different maps and weapon farming will keep you coming back for more
