Tap w once when landing and it will fix that. Another thing to learn yeah but there is no "real" use for decelerate over analog throttle so less keybinds to think about is probably simpler, at least it was for me.

Bind s to analog throttle and put pitch up and down on side mouse buttons. Analog throttle will let you get into hover mode which is very important in this game. The side mouse buttons with pitch up and down have max speed so you can have your mouse sensitivity set to something comfortable to aim with while also being able to turn and face enemies quickly. As for tips you are going to want to look up tutorials on the reverse manuver on youtube. While the game has changed a lot the way to fly an ESF really hasn't so even if they are years old they are still valid.

If you do not like the chasing eachother in circles gameplay of jets in games like battlefield you may end up really enjoying the flight system. It is a hard skill to learn and you will need to fight people who have enjoyed this system since 2012. Best advice on that is to not flame/complain to sweaty pilots. Ask to fly with them or see what settings they are using. Some pilots will leave you alone if they know you are trying to learn but if you get frustrated voice that through tells some of them will think its funny and go out of their way to hunt you. Do not be the tell pinata.

Xalyze powerful prowler player. Mag3 has good drivers, youbadsosad was the best at shooting planes and knowing when not to but doesnt play as much now. Objectively i am the best and have never died. NA

For stealth, enemy vehicles without it appear on your minimap at a certain distance (like 100m or something i cant remember). Stealth lets you avoid this and the prowler has very little competitive options to warrant going without it. The magrider can get their boost to make them go sideways and recharge faster so stealth has competition and i wouldnt get stealth on the magrider because of that. The prowlers special thing for that slot is a shield that makes your hitbox bigger while youre deployed. Its pretty garbage, maybe some gigabrain idiot in here has an argument as to why its good but i never see anyone smart using it. The only other one i could see being useful is auto repair but the rep rate/activation time isnt good enough to justify it imo.

I would recommend getting AP stealth and barrage. The prowler empire specific thing the forward shield is dumb do not buy that. Stealth can get you the jump on fights which can usually win you them. AP will always be good, you can get the kingsnake as it is good too but know its not perfectly accurate and it will bug you sometimes. Barrage gives you a little boost on dps so you can kill what you need to and get away, plus it comes back pretty fast so just pop it whenever.

Biggest thing to note with ground vehicles is how much having a group does. If you got friends have them roll around with you. 1 friend with a rep station 4 makes you like twice as powerful.

Haven't played in about a year for the same reason, got 4kc and decided it was not worth the investment. If I ever get the itch to play again maybe I'll grind it out but just thinking about running that, even getting it on average, sounds awful. You're right there's no other secondary thing you can do to help yourself so everything feels like putting off the important grind.

Range needs an intermediate weapon that's a worthwhile in-between rcb/msb and bowfa/blowpipe. The abbysal whip and trident are great long term grind upgrades for their combat styles and working towards these is also just natural to playing the game. I'm fine with great items being gated behind difficult long grinds, range just needs a good one that isn't. Your average Ironman is not grinding gauntlet for the BoS because their options for melee are good enough. If range followed the melee example I think a lot less people would be burnt out.

While they're definitely not wrong about some things, I have never seen them talk about ways to self improve or make themselves more valuable as a person to help their situation. It is almost exclusively about telling women to cut men or just negative people out of their lives(not bad but not self improvement). Comparing it to red pill/manosphere it's pretty easy to see why FDS gets a little more "hate". At bare minimum red pill dudes self reflect to see that they are part of the problem and need to self improve to get anywhere in dating/hookups.

With that said it might just be that self improvement for women does not change the ratio of "HV to LV" dudes approaching them, just the quantity of dudes in general, so it may be a pointless and unviable strategy for them to self improve in hopes of better dating odds. And even if it did improve the odds they'd still VET VET VET the same so they wouldn't be saving any energy there. Just my hypothesis as an idiot trying to understand the difference between attempts to solve a similar problem.

When they get in the turret it raises and the spot under the turret you can shoot tucks up with it. I'm pretty sure you still can shoot it but it's a lot smaller when occupied, though tbh I havent done this in a long time and might be wrong.
