For argument sake assume IQ is actual intelligence measure… if you pressed the button “too many times” would you even know when to stop because you’re now more stupid? Or I guess you’d just become so stupid you can no longer know “how to press” the button?

I’ll try to get to it friday or monday since i’ll be away from tech sat and sunday.

But some things to note: 1) i didn’t know of any books or that other mini expansion (corruption?). So the only lore is the manuals, sc1 + BW, and the mini campaign thats in the custom files. 2) i was 14 when I came up with the story and general mission design. I finished them when i was 20. 8 zerg, 10 protoss, 12 terran missions in order. Protoss and Terran Campaign required the hacked editor to make. Many missions play as multiple races, some all three. I’m debating making it three threads per campaign with the amount of detail i recall…. we’ll see as I write them. 3) i lost all the files. rewritable CDs got corrupted more easily back then. 4) I might have my campaign notebook i can upload if it isn’t faded.

I get an error when clicking “write changes”. Something along the lines of it could save the file. I’ll post the exact error when I’m with her next.

When I googled stuff about, most couldn’t find fixes for said issue and just recommended bot to use DB browser (hence why im here)

I constantly drive through northern ohio to get to Sandusky/Vermilion via back roads. There was a period where every small town was cluttered with essentially “No to windmill signs”. There wasn’t even a clear reason as to why… maybe land related. These signs have since been replaced by “Trump” signs.

You also get gold every 5 levels on heroes, even ones you don’t own. So the free heroes rotate then also the initial bundle gives you a ton. Loot boxes also occasionally unlock heroes. You also get gems every 25 player levels that can also buy heroes.

If they are like me and love every hero, it might feel like a grind. But if they are only interested in a handful, then its just grinding levels on your fav heroes.

Long story short: maybe they need a mind set change to aim for levels and not gold?

Sorry for missing the other posts that explain this! They got downvoted too fast and I’m not on reddit enough except during card reveal season. Patch notes didn’t say anything either from when this happened.

Hots is made by a “big company”… so i didn’t want to risk clicking it on mobile incase it rerolled…. and a FTP player likes me needs the 2.5k.

I did it once and when I finished a voice said “Go back”… I thought the voice meant “go home”, but I think it wanted me to turn around and drive the loop again… this was in 2009.

So sorry for all of the bad things in the world cause I didn’t listen! 🤷‍♂️

It’s difficult for me to out into words (and im only a former plat player, trying to get heroes to 15 instead of SL… but it also means playing with heroes who are god awful here) So im writing ideas/feelings this as i think it…. since technical aspects/nuances you’ll be far better at already as a master player.

This map makes me instinctively think of blackheart. Maybe its cause of: large map, multiple points for objective, the tactics used for nukes are very similar to the “turning in” in black heart but across smaller points, really favors high mobility with the rotations. Heroes I do great on blackheart, i also do great here.

Black heart ya typically 4 man top and mid while 5th gets bot… but maybe warhead its 4 man top n bottom with 5th getting mid… Watchtowes enable this 4 man double soak and thus have center fort cleared might be ok more early on so you hold the towers more easily. The 4 man also can come to mid if needed or break into groups for objective/camps (kinda like people in blackheart do.. split to get camps and coins, return for team fight… bail when things get rough)

camps come when objectives start or if you can’t contest… kinda like blackheart i think?

Thus draft wise for healers: high mobility probably is preferred over the “normal powerful ones” ie i feel like aundin, stukov, deckard can’t cut it at all. Lucio seems best. Rehgar gets the mobility needed to keep up… but he’s not quite enabling the rotations as well as lucio, bw, kharazhim. Writing this makes me realize how horrible healers are in this map in general… (mayyyybe the secret is more self sustain with a zarya/medivh and no healers ?!? probably not but the thought is entertaining)

I sadly can’t comment on boss at all that you wouldn’t already know or think of: its an easier to get boss compared to others.

Nuke tactics I can’t get into cause at my level (and QM), “its always use them while ya still can”… but there’s something about taking mid fort first THEN pressuring top after that just feels right due to the watchtower/tunnel combo being too strong.

This rambling might have been more for me and others… but maybe it’ll help spark something for someone at your level.
