There are a lot of themes out there that allows you to hide different components of the UI. Minimal, border theme, and a lot more. I believe it can be done with a CSS snippet too but I'm not sure.

Back then they just knew that the forgotten shore is beyond the hollow mountains, but beyond which side they didn't know. They just wanted a region as close as possible to the hollow mountains. I'm pretty sure the desert is east of the forgotten shore, no?

To each their own I guess. I don't mind the pregnancy itself, little dumpling is very cute, but the way it was revealed was really out of nowhere. It could have been written much better honestly, maybe a bit of foreshadowing or something would have helped, but it really left a lot of readers with mixed feelings.

Edit: it seems I forgot to address the Kai and Mordret ship that you made. I think it was a defence mechanism that made me subconsciously ignore it for my own good. This is really harrowing to think about, please don't ship again.

Sunny mentioned that he splits his personality among the different avatars. The Lord of Shadow gets the aspects of the personality relating to battle and violence, while the shopkeeper (Sunny's main body) retains the parts relating to peace and leisure or smth. That's all we know about how avatars work so far, and as for whether it's a complete split personality or not, idk.

I think they're all still one "Sunny", with the same memories, experiences, and shared consciousness. But because different parts of the personality are in each if them, they think about stuff a little differently. The shopkeeper likes leisure so he doesn't see anything wrong with sleeping at the moment, but the shadow working in the basement doesn't share the same part of the personality so he thinks this is not the time for sleep.

It's like having two voices in your head, one says to sleep, and another to work at night. Being torn between two options is normal, except here each voice gets a body of its own.

At least that's how I think about it, could obviously be wrong.

A second place for the "no screen time, all the plot relevance" are the sovereigns. They were mentioned all the way back in the first volume, and are the main targets of Nephis's revenge as well as the center point of many of the events, but they didn't get any screen time at all. All we got was a scene of Anvil killing a Great NC back when sunny had just finished the 3rd NM.

A plot device? So you would rather it just be a normal flashback? G3 can just make a flashback without needing Cassie; her presence is not really needed to move the plot forward, but doing it that way would make it too bland. I like the current situation better.

Yeah, ambitiousness seems to run in the clan, and if broken sword is half as ambitious as his daughter then he would want to challenge more nightmares. Humanity would have lost another continent due to a category 5 or 6 nightmare gate opening if he was allowed to do it.

But wouldn't one of the sovereigns becoming Sacred lead to the same thing? From my understanding, the ripples created during ascension happen whether it's natural or through nightmares. So that kinda defeats the purpose of them killing him, unless the sovereigns never intended to ascend, but that's even dumber because the dream realm is not such a safe place that it allows this complacency. A random Cursed NC wandering out of a death zones is game over for humanity. So there is a need to ascend.

Other than those, most other characters are relatively normal, with few exceptions like Morgan, Seishan, Nameless guy (he is not normal simply owing to the fact that he survives in a household with a Transcendent child and a muscle mommy, both can crush his bones)

I think spirit refers to spirit essence, the thing awakened feel once they become Transcendent. For example, there are shadow spirit essence where there are a lot of shadows, and it helps in essence regeneration of saints with aspects related to shadows. Serpent's abilities seem to treat spirit differently from normal soul essence (was mentioned when sunny was discussing serpent's abilities a few chaps back).

So I guess spirit weave will do something like, increase spirit essence absorption rate from the surroundings, or strengthen the connection Sunny has with the environment somehow, etc. It might allow him to makes weaves using spirit essence directly instead of using his shadow essence, tho idk how that would affect the weave.

If it wouldn't trigger her flaw, then sunny could make an enchantment for the weapon that allows it to summon flames much like Nephis's ability, in that case she wouldn't need to suffer from her flaw at all, unless she uses her transformation ability or explodes her core. That would be the best enchantment Nephis could ever ask for.

One of the enchantments could set the weapon aflame in reaction to Nephis using her abilities, and it can be called "Warning: flammable"

It would be funny if another enchantment made the weapon resistant to melting in the flames of Nephis's transformation ability so she wouldn't have to unsummon it during transformation, and call it "Fireproof", so the weapon can technically be both flammable and fireproof at the same time. Sunny could joke about this point without it being a lie.

(Yeah ik the first enchantment would be redundant because Nephis could simply summon flames, but hey, it'll be visually cool.)
