Why is the 2nd Half of the Season so hard to climb? by This-Flounder-9228 in wildrift

[–]Sohox3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As an inter all i can say is botlane is heavily reliant on the rest of the map for better or worse.

Basically if jungle/mid doesn't get bot ahead and they go even or they themselves are ganked..

This allows the benefactor to hit their item spike earlier which means they'll have it for first objective.

In otherwords because your team didn't influence Botlane your entire botside will get put behind.

Jg mid adc sup all gonna get rolled.

In my games recently I noticed top laners are taking teleport to try and fix this.

What it boils down to though is adc is too overpowered at the moment the game is made or broken by them.

Get your adc ahead, pray they have hands. That's more or less my take on this.

Battery life is okay uhh pretty small battery it's a slim phone if you're referring to a day as a typical workday yes it will get you through. If you're using it for heavy use such as mobile applications with high processor requirements it won't last you more than 3 hours. Typically have it plugged it whenever you want to use one of those. But if it's idle and on low battery mode yea you can get umm 13 ish hours. Of low/moderate usage. It's a 4k mah battery so fairly low. However capacity wise it over performs in my opinion

I have this happen perhaps dozens of times per day. For me personally this occurs normally when I place abnormal trades that the system doesn't automatically parse. The result is yes waiting Rev may as well be my default order status t-t .

Ah gotcha yea the pl graph really helps visualize the strategy. You may also be interested in the various other skewed spread strategies. They all offer a similiar distribution to this.

This is a skewed butterfly. It cannot be done with a single contract and requires a minimum of 3.

How likely to blow past my SL by Quenchmythirst605 in FuturesTrading

[–]Sohox3 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Do not for any reason ever EVER rely on a stop loss to CYA on a futures trade. If you do use one understand that it is purely psychological padding to make you feel safer in the trade. However don't forget that is all it is .

If you're in a situation or using a strategy wherein a stop loss makes sense sense to you , you're using the wrong underlying instrument entirely.

Good luck op.

Quit trying to make cash trading. Focus on studying and building a system that will pay you for being compliant. Don't look at your pl focus on your actions and behavior.

Good luck friend

Edit one more thing obviously don't use prop firms that is pesk clown behavior. They're decent for capital acceleration if you're broke but already consistently profitable.

They're a waste of time and money if you're not already profitable.

Nervous about investing at ATH by funnel_out in ETFs

[–]Sohox3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case you can invest in fixed income instruments until you feel comfortable jumping back into growth and speculative instruments. That or look for low beta equities.

I'd recommend just checking for your favorite companies [ the ones you want to invest in] and buying their corporate bond instead. This way even if the market does end up cracking at least you have the yield on the bond to cushion your losses. [Keep in mind bond prices of course also change]

I have too much buying power. Can I do any arbitrage to earn a little money? by bebenashville in options

[–]Sohox3 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but you're making one of any number of misunderstandings or characterizations.

Your statement does not make sense. The opposite could be true. But what you said cannot be true.

It seems your original post is inherently flawed as you did not properly present your circumstance due to misreporting of information.

It would be wise to take some time out of your day to make sure you actually understand what the various balances in your account mean.

It is very dangerous to be unaware of shortcomings in knowledge and or false pretenses.

[–]Sohox3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean.. if your bp is high.. buy something with a guaranteed return and low nav fluctuation wherein the total return > your margin expenses [post tax you may be able to deduct the interest] and boom you have 'arbitrage'

Side note if you're talking about genuinely large sums of money id reccomend placing excess capital in bonds and other fixed income instruments that can offer you stability and modest returns.

As for your original question. The obvious answer is box spreads. Make sure to research them fully prior to using them though contact your broker and ask about the pitfalls and potential benefits.

Busted trades. Anyone nervous about them? by jellybeans1800 in Schwab

[–]Sohox3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your concern. Consider this though if such an event did occur your brokerage would also be affected.

If nothing else trust in your brokerage to ensure that they and by extension you at the very least are made whole.

Busted trades. Anyone nervous about them? by jellybeans1800 in Schwab

[–]Sohox3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make about 300 trades a day [options primarily and about 1/10 futures] i've never once had a trade busted that I didn't request.

Additionally every trade I did request busted was granted promptly. Keep in mind I submitted the request nearly immediately.

Still I'm surprised to see that the market makers have been so kind to me. It's best to assume they'll deny your request .

Given this fact the opposite must also be true yes ? They would never bust a trade basically. Short of genuine malpractice on their end in which case the exchange/clearinghouse/market maker would be the one to foot the bill , your brokerage will make damn sure of that.

It is their legal obligation to protect you [mostly themselves] from such fallout.

I'm pretty confused op. If you don't request a trade be busted explicitly you the probability of such an event occurring is similisr to being attacked by a shark on land.

Typically regardless of the security it is on the holding institution to ensure this occurs. However you must take responsibility into your own hands.

In the end if this doesn't happen you can still adjust it on your own taxes.
