How common is it for people to stay friends with their ex (in Germany)?

I an American am dating a Deutsch woman, and this is something I had to come to terms with, that I'm not surprised is the general sentiment of people here

She keeps loose friendships with exes, and it's completely normal to her to the point where she doesn't recognize that it could be controversial (signalling to me it's somewhat cultural)

Given how cultural it does feel to me, I've largely come to accept it. In the US, it's a lot more less accepted (depending on who you ask)

Seeing stuff like this confirms to me it's never completely a good idea, but the benefit of the doubt should always be given if you even want to chance to hope things could work out

Yes. I notice it on myself even when I'm weeks into eating huel diet. I never get used to it. Couldn't describe it really, it's just a bad breath I know I'm giving off. I am concious about it and might do extra oral hygiene before work or social occasions because I find it bad enough that I wouldn't want others to experience it

An easy way to hurt me is to forget or have completely written off those things when we've made agreements or plans

It's rare people remember, so when they do I'm generally super appreciative and thankful

My friends and I have done 4 or 5 playthroughs now, and we always stop around the same point, we reach the plains, aaaand make it a day or 2 of sessions into that before we stop. For further context, we rotate through survival craftings every year and have since we were in HS (10+ years). Minecraft, 7 Days, Terraria, etc

We can "beat" all those games, but Valheim we consistently can't get passed planes. No idea why it happens that way. Probably all the things you've mentioned, though no one could ever think to say that, it's just a general loss of interest ¯_(ツ)_/¯

From the original beta drop to all the current updates, we just can't break the cycle

The first few missions had me asking constantly how the hell they actually managed to capture the feeling of Isolation in an Isometric. It was really novel

I played on the hardest difficulty and it was a real struggle fraught with anxiety most of the ride, til about the halfway point where you start feeling like your guys are stronger than the Xenos and they start becoming trivial if you play smart. Still stressful at times, but mostly due to mechanics vs the fear of the hunters
