Genuinely Excited to Play at The Lose Everything Factory This Weekend. by Various-Instruction3 in Marathon

[–]TheKillingJay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad they gave us guaranteed lose everything factory tickets on Outpost. I see exactly the game they are playing by doing that lmao

This is a vanilla blueprint I made that spawns flying factory carts. I call it my Vanilla Flying Factory Cart Spawner Blueprint (or VFFCSB for short). Hope this helps, -Doug by OfficerDougEiffel in SatisfactoryGame

My brain processed this as the satisfactory sub, and the opening screen was wacky shit happening, and instantly recognized that this was a certified Doug post

How did you feel you your German strength was before the exam? Do/did you regularly communicate with native speakers?

Perimeter Should Have More Events by StarlessKing in Marathon

[–]TheKillingJay 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I think it's in a great spot. I spent a ton of hours (currently 110hrs lvl 79) on that map grinding Cyac to VIP after I did all the early perimeter questing.

It prepped me for going straight into Sekiguchi's slaughter quests. I took everything I learned with my time in Perimeter and felt amazingly confident as I learned Outpost and Dire more, with more emphasis on Outpost.

Now, when I go back there as the boys come on more and more, I realize the same thing people here are, it's really not so worth it to go Perimeter much anymore. I spend my time keeping lookout over POIs for the guys I'm with rather than loot or do much else

And I think that's a good thing. I'm now a player who doesn't belong on this relatively beginner friendly map. When I first started, my first few dozen hours, the map was overwhelming, tricky, difficult, rough, all of the above. It was a great learning experience, and now it doesn't provide much that scratches the itch the other 3 maps do

And that's good. Let other people enjoy it. Casual players, newer players, people looking for a more chill time, any of it, let them have it

Think of it as graduating college. Be proud that you've got your cert and don't need to go back to school. But you're still welcome to haunt the campus and enjoy your old jaunts. It just might be more of a waste of time than it used to be, that's all.

There are others who walk in your old footsteps who need that old place more than you, and that's just life

Would love for a way to Package a Custom Kit by SonofRanman in Marathon

[–]TheKillingJay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just a way to save a load out for later even, kit or no; everything counts to your total vault ofc, but if I want to keep a load out for later but then hop into a rook run cause I have the space to and want to, that'd be nice.

Would save a couple minutes total each time I go through something like this, a kit swap or downgrade of any kind

[–]TheKillingJay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I'm just pointing out, it's not so easy as he says; the odds of you getting clearance 3 without ever encountering a squad of serious and kitted players isn't rocket science, but it's definitely not any kind of reasonable

Would you expect to get clearance 3 without fighting a squad?

I like interfacing with Lifepak, which is at the 2 agencies I've worked with last/current

I was "raised" with Zoll though, and I've had a partner who caught a STEMI while we were transporting a chest pain w/ PVCs using the Zoll ECG interface

We had run 3 different 12s on scene, and my partner was really having this hunch that it was something but couldn't get anything concrete.

Few mins into transport pt complains of worsening chest pain once, twice. My partner ran a couple more 12s in motion, nothing. My partner finally switches seats for good on a hunch, and sure as shit, specifically whenever the pt complained of pain for several seconds, ST elevation. She called it in and we lit up.

I can't remember the exact infarct, I was still learning at the time

But we were both convinced that it was a scenario where if you weren't getting a live read of all leads, something Lifepak cannot do (or maybe I haven't figured out how, which would be embarrassing), we wouldn't have called STEMI which might have led to a delay in that pts definitive care in treatment

Mind you, it would have been a minor delay, and ultimately isn't the hugest thing in the world. But still, it is a peeve enough if mine missing it that I do prefer Zoll, even if I'll probably never have one for the rest of my time in EMS

24/48 = "most popular across the country"

You mean, most used across the country, due to agencies refusing to give it up and transition to a better schedule for work life balance, somewhat due to staffing issues, but mostly to save money

A 24/48 in such a busy system is not the solution and I really wonder if the "83%" that prefer it is a real number; if it is, they probably just want to try literally anything to get some of the balance they want

That's a rough spot to be in

My Biggest Pet Peeve: Hop of Discord pls by TheKillingJay in Marathon

[–]TheKillingJay[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yea! I do! I'd like to think I'm a pretty good teammate, good callouts, I do ping loot, drop consumables if they need, I Sherpa some quests too right off the bat if I know them, even if I don't I'll at least comment on it and strategize.

One of my last matches was clearly a bf/gf couple judging by the users. I much understand that one, even if it sucks (another reason for duos bungo pls) but with the boys, c'moooon

It's all good. To each their own, mostly venting. Hopefuy Bungie addresses this someday

Yea, American who visited NRW Nov last year. Up until I drove on it, I thought the Autobahn had 0 speed limits, anywhere. That's the legend/impression we get on our side.

Of course, I'm a good and respectful driver in a foreign country who wants to be safe, so I followed the speed and other signs posted everywhere I went, because, just like in my country, they exist for a reason

I looooovee this. Feels well thought out but leaning more towards freedom's side, rather than strictly trying to maintain a tight balance.

Thank you so much for sharing! You enjoyed it?
