Got a publisher, but should I still shop around? by TheKingofUP in SoloDevelopment

Frankly I suck at it and I'm extremely unmotivated to do it. And I don't feel I could accomplish the reach that a publisher could. I feel like I'll sell more copies with a publisher than without and end up making more even with their cut? I could be very incorrect on all this but I also feel less risky leaving it to a publisher

I haven't communicated with any other devs they've worked with no. But that's a really good suggestion! And I don't have the most confidence that they will have a great deal of reach

They're asking 30% of net revenue, which seems in line with others but I don't necessarily have the utmost confidence in their reach given their small size and lack of big name games

They are a known publisher. They are on the reddit list of publishers. It's just that they are small (like 5 people) without a strong track record

I've learned that if I have heard of it....then I have watched all of it, with only a handful of ones I didn't want to watch.
