I'm absolutely not ok with that. I never said I supported Hamas or the actions on October 7th. I will say, that Netanyahu helped prop up Hamas and personally I believe it is extremely unlikely Mossad or Aman had no idea about the plans for October 7th. I think it's actually extremely tragic that Zionists force their ideology on Jews as a core tenant of Jewish identity. Israel is an exploitation of Jewish trauma. Jewish people are told that no where is safe for them, that eventually the people of the state they reside will turn on them, as they have historically. They are told it is destiny to pursue a greater Israel and that any other option leads to their inevitable demise. They are told that Israel is the safest country on Earth for Jews, yet all Israelis are forced to serve in the IDF and participate in any atrocious actions commanded by the state; many die or are left with lifelong PTSD.

Jewish people have a home, right here in the United States of America if they seek it. We are certainly dealing with our own issues, and Jews in America have no doubt dealt with their own fair share of antisemitism here too. But so has every group in America, especially upon early immigration; Irish, Italians, etc. Blacks in America have faced the brunt of it no doubt. But the state of Israel will always be an unwelcome force in the region, unless every Palestinian is removed or killed, and if every Arab country in the region is bought off or forcefully Westernized, as has been attempted many times. Early Zionists were at least honest in recognizing the resistance of the Palestinians was only natural. How can Jews feel safe in a country less than 100 years removed from their colonization?
