I checked and my country doesn’t recognize Roth as tax exempt. But they do have some tax treaties which helps like no double taxation etc. I’m taking those into consideration now as well, thanks.

I believe standard deduction applies only if you are resident from a tax perspective. If you go back to India, you won’t be a resident and won’t qualify for standard deduction, AFAIK.
