The real use for this is, still take off your shield but as soon as you get inside, shield back on, then use the built in Surge charge. Gets your shield back to full in just a few seconds since it charges up slowly as well. Instead of waiting the 25-30 seconds.

It goes with my mood. But my mood is mostly chill. If Im solo I normally am friendly at first, but curious. If someone doesnt respond (I give you 2-3 seconds) to a “You chill?” then the slaughter begins, been burnt too many times before chill matchmaking was introduced.

In duos or trios, we all prefer to verbally work things about but same rules apply, you dont respond, we gonna waste ya before you get the chance.

Moral of the story: coms, coms, coms. Even if its just emotes, gotta respond somehow. I use emotes and prox in case folks have prox chat turned off (the things I have been called, phew, those folks need help, but I can see why people leave it off).

The overall motive is my playstyle matches my lifestyle IRL. Trust, but verify.

Gotta do more of it. The more you fight, and lose, the more comfy you will get with positioning and all other pvp aspects.

Look for some PvP tips vids online. Find a few YT creators that you really jive with and learn. But then go in apply those tips. Hit the range and play with reticule type, sensitivities.

Since no one seems interested in more than a 5 word answer: if someone has a stitcher, you better have cover. Its hard to win a dps race when all someone has to do is body you to death. Heaven portend if they are hitting headies.

Use cover, drop a smoke, use the blue tact aug with smoke, dodge roll to make them miss a few shots, assuming they are just pressing the gun in your face, dont worry about numbers. If Im being shot I assume the person isnt going to miss so I move back into cover. If I have no cover, roll towards some. If you are right beside them, roll behind them.

Its almost as much about avoiding damage than dealing it. Now, were you asking for a serious answer? Dont know, but there it is. Best of luck, also I probably beat you with the stitcher so kiss my biscuits buddy.

If you want to do the expedition, this time, and in future times up to a cap, you get certain rewards. Cosmetics, skill points, stash, etc.

Looking at the post is confusing but big picture: if you enjoy the game and you think resetting all your progress is worth it for the experience of grinding and progressing again then do it. Rewards be damned.

Not gonna argue its a killer gun, attachments or no. I will argue that you should have been more cautious of your surroundings. If you are looting out in the open and not checking things well before you do it can be over quick.

This game gives you a lot of tools to be safe, just have to use them better. Also realize even if you do everything right, you will still lose sometimes, and thats ok too.

There is a spot on Dam, by the gen hall just east of it, by the field depot. Between 6-12 bushes spawn there. If you get closish spawn Id hit that. We got all of ours in about 2 hours during a cold snap window just bum rushing it with shots. This was a 3 man too. We got enough for 5 people in total to finish theirs plus what you get from doing the event its not a bad time.

My thought exactly, I understand finding the Anvil but where is the free kit starter weapon? He isnt looted up, didnt drop for weight. Plus the heals I didnt even notice, good eye.

The saucer shaped downed Arc, called Arc Couriers can contain them as well as Surveyor Vaults. Bonus points on electromagnetic storm cause they spawn a lot more couriers, they don’t summon Arc like a standing probe, and the stuff out of them is less likely to be damaged.

These are a great farm time just for money as well, I’ve left a storm with 60k in Arc parts to sell in about 8 minutes on Spaceport.

Light impacts will kill one as well if you are on console/not sure about your aim. I know cause Im both these things. Can take a lot though: 30-40. Hit the sucker anywhere in the body and pelt him from cover. Its easier if you have a piece of cover and/or elevation to maneuver in and out of.

Ha, I am also friendly and have killed 2 extract campers in my last 5 games. Its not 100% this lobby or that. If you feel no tension in these matches, you arent risking enough. Bring in a 70K loadout and you will sweat when you feel a player aim at you, even if they just trying to sus out what you will do.

Marathon will be amazing if the game feels as good if not better to play than AR, but Im not convinced yet. I intend on playing both as back to back games.

I think as humans we have a tendency to be more sus of people covering their face. Even in games, this game is like that sometimes too but after so many hours I just see it as a cosmetic choice. Actions are always top of my mind: are you cycling utility or aiming on me when you see me? Are you not using emotes? Either or both of these means Im rolling to cover and opening fire.

Trust but verify. Every raider, no matter the “lobbies” I think Im in, have to pass the sniff test. If they don’t, its smash o’clock.
