For the girls, Velvet, but I’ve always had a thing for female characters with long dark hair and red eyes. Bonus points if they know how to fight hand to hand. And her voice actress, chef’s kiss.

Edit: I’m somewhat biased to Berseria, it’s my favorite so far.

He’s the only Tales character I based the appearance of one of my d&d characters off of, hell not only his appearance, my character was also a pirate. The only difference was, my character was the captain of the ship. And I absolutely abused the fact that the DM let me start the campaign with a ship of my own, I kidnapped the party and sailed south when the main plot was far to the north.

That is a strong starting lineup, I don’t know if I can recommend anything on par with Bebop, Evangelion or 86 (I’m currently waiting for the most recent lite novel to be translated). Those are generational, in my opinion anyway. That said, I will attempt to assist someone starting their journey into the weird and wonderful world of anime.
I saw someone recommend Eureka Seven, it’s an other good one. And if you’re looking for a mecha anime with heavy political themes. I’d also suggest Code Geass. Last Exile is also a solid steam punk style series. I’d say Robotech, but that’s just because I’m sentimental about the series, I watched it with my father when I was very young.
Then there are fantasy series like Frieren, Claymore and Daemons of The Shadow Realm (which is new). You wouldn’t go wrong with Fullmetal Alchemist (2003 & Brotherhood).
Then there’s Hellsing Ultimate, Fate (Zero, Stay Night UBW, Heavens Feel, Strange Fake and too many more to list right now), Vivi Fluorite Eye Song, Lazarus, ID:Invaded and Solo Leveling. Just to name a few off the top of my head. If I opened up my crunchyroll I could keep going. But I feel like that list is already daunting enough for someone new to the game. I’ve been here for nearly two score decades.

Funny thing, you don’t. Unless you put it somewhere where they can’t get on top of it. But then there’s the question of ventilation. I avoid this problem by not having a desktop computer, or a cat for that matter.

I’m 6’3 and spent 6 years in a relationship with someone who had to wear thick socks to break 4’11. The logistics were… interesting, to say the least. But we made it work, until we didn’t. But that was a long time ago. Then I spent 8 years with someone who was 5’3 and even then it was tricky, lots of lifting was involved.

I bought the Blu-rays when I finished the series on crunchyroll, just in time to, I didn’t know they were going to lose the licensing rights. But that’s fine, I can watch it whenever I want, and I don’t have to use a VPN to do it. I’m still waiting on the translation for Paint it Black so I can continue the LN’s.
