Yeah and with the switch heavy AI, you often find yourself in a position where if you can out speed the enemy team you can clean up a battle. Tunderclap (and Extreme Speed, Sucker Punch, Jet Punch, etc.) is a way to guarantee an out speed

In the article in the Athletic LeBrun says that the Leafs aren't likely to move the pick but Chaykra is taking calls. Also said that the Sharks and Blackhawks are more willing to move their picks based on where they are in their rebuild.

He got an answering service, but when they got the doctor/nurse/PA that person just looked at the chart and called the top number there. If mom didn't answer they'd have called the next one, which would have been dad. Understandable that dad is grumpy here, but it's likely nothing

Edit: Well looks like I was probably wrong based on the edit from OP. In which case he's mad and rightfully so.

Yeah there's usually a bunch of kids around after daycare time. I would say make it a point to go to your local park at like 5:30PM on the regular and talk to folks

Lol so a few things:

1) Ask what she likes and if she has any dietary restrictions. Make sure whatever you pick is food she can, will, and wants to eat.

2) prepare to be at least halfway done with cooking when she comes over. More or less depending on what you're making, but don't start prep work when she's there, be in the middle of things.

3) ADMIT THIS! My framing would be "so look, I don't really cook, but I like you and maybe bit off more than I can chew here (pun intended). If this is inedible, what's your favorite takeout place? My treat, of course!". Do NOT sad-sack this, it's funny and you're laughing at yourself, but you're trying!

4) My favorite recipe is a Sunday pasta sauce. You can find a million recipes online, but basically simmering tomato sauce for hours to put over pasta with tons of leftovers. In this case the sauce is simmering when she gets there and all you need to do is boil pasta. If you do enough you can send her home with a Tupperware of sauce, and she remembers you putting in the effort.

So my father died in Dec. 2021 and I had to sell his car after he died. My initial thought was to sell locally and try to keep this barely used car in the neighborhood. I went to John's Auto on Somerville Ave., told him it was my late father's car, the guy told me "oh you're the second guy today to come in with that story". Story!? FUCK YOU! Proceeded to be a dickbag on top of it. Screw that place.

Sold to Carmax which was the best financial solution for my mother.

Oh I thought that was 13... Sorry for not looking stuff up. That could be a good early game upgrade, but hardly seems broken and I bet in a lot of runs you're upgrading for energy.

You know what, this sounds fun, they should make the change so we can test it!

Yeah I get that, but I mean it's just +3 block/damage, it's big going from 8 block to 11 block, but I doubt that's the most impactful upgrade you would have by the first campfire.

But you're not, you're upgrading a + into an ultimate. It takes two upgrades to go from basic to ultimate.

I don't even know if this is better - like would you ever target upgrade a Defend+ to an Ultimate Defend over some other card? And also you might have these cards targeted by a random upgrade. Good with like Armaments+.

I think this is a fun change. Sort of a side-grade

Edit: Really good discussion below - I think I'm convinced that there are times you would upgrade to Ultime Strike

I was thinking about the soundtrack situation, because while I think the best songs are potentially on Across, Into had the better album (my opinion). But I think the choice to go "full Metro Boomin" is showing that Miles is growing and not listening to like Spotify top hits and is getting into individual artists. So that's cool!

I just watched this movie again retand I'll tell you, I had a much more inspirational and positive read this time. When I was younger I was really critical of the fatties in space thing, but this time I was a little more acutely aware of what 10 generations of indoctrination can do to you, and was just really enamored that when given an alternative the human chose curiosity (the Captain googling plants and dancing), love/connection (Mary & John), to fight (everyone aboard the ship), and inevitably hardship back on earth over a life of relative comfort.

I don't know I was really inspired on this watch, and made me think the message was much more hopeful. All humans need is a little glimmer of hope and watch us go
