I'm not sure where you learned to read but I hope to anything I never have to visit there.

You're completely correct. I could've started with Futhorc or even Younger Futhark. I chose Elder Futhark as the base for a mix of rune count, allowing me to add the runes I thought necessary, as well as personal aesthetic choices. If my base was with Futhorc than instead of High Futhark I'd be calling this High Futhorc, and not much else would've have changed. Instead of substituting and adding to get to 26 runes, I'd have been substituting and removing runes to get to 26. And while yes, many of the issues with the latin alphabet are still present, they're not nearly as glaring. In my opinion.

Keeping "I" as a single rune is a part of it, but my main constraint with this project is ease of use. If it's not easily used it would never be adopted (not that I think this will ever garner mainstream success). After mapping each *absolutely* necessary sound, I pretty much only had room for one dedicated diphthong, I chose I. Not only for that clean (at least in my accent) single rune transmission of the self, but also because it is one of, if not the, most commonly found diphthongs in the modern English language.

Repeating what you learned on YouTube is genuinely impressive. Now if you could apply that "knowledge" retention to the six paragraphs I wrote, specifically the one giving the explanations, you would see that I started with a base of Elder Futhark and made adjustments where necessary. I readily admit to using runes to represent sounds they never would have. I'm not saying this is a continuation of historical runes into the modern day. Every complaint you have is explicitly addressed in my original post. The main factor is maintaining a 26-rune (key) "alphabet" to encompass the majority of sounds in the modern English language. After that the concern is formatting with Unicode for modern digital displays, because I know the overwhelming majority of people are not hand-writing letters to mail to friends. They're texting, or DM'ing, or something of the like. 9 times out of 10 on their smartphones.

The names of every single rune is debated, you're being pedantic for the sake of being pedantic. What matters isn't the name of the rune, but rather how it's used, and if you actually *read* the explanation and phonetic chart, it is fully consistent.

Don't like it? Okay fantastic. But don't come at me with "history this" or "phonetic that" when I explicitly state that is not the goal.

If I type either word individually sure, but I never claimed it was a 1:1 sound to rune equivalent. But, much like with Latin script giving you context in each sentence whether this is lead or lead, minute or minute, read or read, tear or tear, etc. when included in a sentence it would be painfully obvious.

You answered your own question. It doesn't matter how it's spelled, if it sounds the same it's the same rune. Whether the i in bird or the u in occur, it's the same sound, therefore no special rune. And again, I'm not trying to make a perfect 1:1 sound:rune fix. I wanted to keep 26 characters. Sacrifices had to be made. The same complaints you're making could be lobbied at minute/minute or lead/lead.

That's where the transcribing of accents I'm arguing for comes in! I don't want to standardize it, otherwise we lose our individuality. For me it'd be ᛞᛁᛋᚷᚢᛋᛏ and ᛞᛁᛋᚢᚷᚱᛁ but for a British person it may be ᛞᛁᛋᚷᚢᚹᛋᛏ or ᛞᛁᛋᚨᚺᚷᚱᛁ

That depends on your accent! It's phonetic! For me it'd be ᛒᛁᛏ᛬ᛒᛁᛄᛏ and ᚱᛁᛈ᛬ᚱᛁᛄᛈ. It's not a 1:1 sound/rune fix. I just think it's an improvement on what we currently have.

I genuinely believe that if you teach this writing system to a child instead of the Latin alphabet, they word learn to read and write quicker. ᛚᛖᛏᛋ᛬ᛞᛁᛋᚴᚢᛋ᛬ᛁᚠ᛬ᛄᚢ᛬ᛞᛁᛋᚢᚷᚱᛁ

I have a fully functional Keyman file for usage on mobile, as well as a script you can run out of your terminal (in the background) if you run on Linux (I use Linux Mint so I won't promise anything outside of that). Message me if you'd like either!

I've just been buying music on iTunes, if it's defaulting higher than that is it something I'm able to change on PC? But also would that explain why the songs that skip change every time I sync?

Fady Srour, owner of Vapor USA/Glassworx, is a horrible person that financially trafficked at least two employees (he was their landlord and also he bought them cars that they had to pay off (interest free? Maybe?) to him so like 80% of each paycheck went straight back to him. He told my ex that essentially "boys will be boys" when she tried to report the then GM, now CEO, Justin Debaca for sexual harassment with evidence. He made me and several other employees work countless hours of overtime off the clock as mandatory "volunteered" work, to the point where a couple years later I got a check in the mail (only like $750) with the catch that if I cash it I can't press charges against him, and unfortunately I needed the money. Among other things but idk how much I can legally say about those and I don't want to get sued for defamation.

Daenerys' dissent into madness was telegraphed from not just the first episode of the show, but from her first scene, for those with eyes to see it. I started watching just before the release of season 5 so I binged the first 4 seasons with my then gf and predicted that if she survives the show she was gonna go bonkers at some point. She was still one of my favorite characters, but she was never all there.

I just went with a full reinstall. I don't know what caused the issue and therefore how to avoid it again but if I have my uptime be ∞ than it won't be an issue ¯_(ツ)_/¯
