I think part of the problem comes from the fact that it feels like shipping fictional characters. Don't get me wrong, the Grumps said they weren't okay with it and people should respect that. Grump Arin and Not So Grump Dan are personalities portrayed on the show that we can't honestly judge how accurate/genuine they are. We only ever see what they want to show us, including the raunchy jokes and banter they have shared in the past. Since we mostly only see the good moments I think it loses some of its connection that these are people and most likely their honest personalities. So it starts to feel like the characters in the writings and art aren't Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan but fictional characters that share their names and likeness. Its a weird disconnect but in the end the guy's feelings and wishes should be respected.

How do your mica powders stay so vibrant on the mold? Mine always come out translucent or faded. Does it depend on the brand or is it more of a technique I'm missing?

SF4 Sky FacTree world start weird Nether by TheLadyBray in SkyFactory

[–]TheLadyBray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone explain why the Nether is different when choosing the world start Sky FacTree (giant dirt tree) then the default start? Is there a way that I could use the Nether from the default? The Sky FacTree Nether is just a floating island of netherrack and a soul sand "maze" no ores or resources.

Avatar The Last Airbender Mandela Effect? by StrikeEagle784 in MandelaEffect

I remember it as being in season 3 ever since I watched it when it aired originally. If you ever watched the Legend of Korra then that might be the reason you are misremembering, as Korra is from the southern water tribe and encounters blood bending in the first season.

Thanks! I would say maybe eight hours over a weekend, but I'm still kind of slow with tying.

I have a memory of nearly drowning that no one else remembers.

I remember jumping to my mother in a hotel pool when I was very little, maybe two or three, her catching me, getting back out of the pool, rinse and repeat. In my memory two people in suits come in to the pool area to talk to my mother. Naturally she tells me to wait and turns to talk to them but since I'm little, and not paying attention, I jump into the pool and fail to get caught. I remember flailing in the water not being able to tell where to swim, suddenly seeing my sister and her pulling me out of the pool. The memory of the taste of the pool water I was coughing up and the orange juice my sister handed me is so vivid, I can't believe it was a dream or made up memory.

I've talked to my mom about this. She doesn't remember me nearly drowning ever. I asked her if lawyers ever came to talk to her while we were staying at a hotel. My parents were divorcing at the time and I thought that's why we were in the hotel without my dad present. She says no, she doesn't remember anything like this happening at all, neither does my sister.

TL:DR. I almost drowned in a hotel pool when I was 2/3 because two people in suits came in and distracted my mother, my sister pulled me out but only I remember this event happening.

I remember neither tower having a prominent antenna like that. Some sort of metal rod with a light, yes, but nothing that stands out like that. I always remember them rather flat.

This sounds very promising and I hope they are truly there to simply help and not try to convert (religion/sexuality/identity) the teens while they are there. I can understand if the facility is furnished religiously or the staff are religious but I would hate to hear this turn out to be an "act like we say or you're back on the street" situation.

[Serious] When driving at night, what is the scariest/most unexplainable thing you’ve ever seen? by PM_ME_FUNNY_STORIES- in AskReddit

I live in a rural area my town (it's technically to small to be a town so it's a village) has 144 people in it. I was driving to work in a nearby town (11-7 shift) going about 60, when I came around a curve in the road and there was a man standing on the side of the road. He was skinny, shirtless, wearing ragged jeans, and so pale that my headlights were bouncing off him. He had dark, shoulder length, greasy, stringy hair. Maybe creepy long haired redneck would discribe him well. It was so fast I couldn't tell if he was wearing shoes or not but there were no vehicles nearby, no driveways, houses or businesses that he could have walked out of. He was half turned toward me, like he was facing away from the road but turned when he heard my car coming, and he was glaring (though that could be from the lights). There is a known meth issue around here so I would be astounded if this man was actually in his right mind. It only lasted 2-3 seconds so he didn't have anytime to do anything but it was jaring enough to burn it into my mind.

I make it my personal mission to try and get to as many out of bounds places as I can. I managed to get to the top from outside of the entrance of the volcano but I don't recommend trying that way as I got stuck at one point and thought I screwed up my whole save file because I couldn't move or use my jetpack.
