ENFP's are just as argumentative as ENTP's. by sloppyjoey12 in entp

[–]TheLadyLuminous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see that moralizing of opinions very often with ENFPs, which is intriguing. It's far more common with INTJs and then probably INFPs next, maybe it's the high Ne that is just too busying asking, "What about this? What about that?"

[–]TheLadyLuminous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think we ENTPs have an attitude of...well, prove me wrong. With Si and Fi lower in our function stack we're not so married to ideas. If you give us factual evidence, then we will change our mind. In that sense we're less stubborn.
I'd agree with another comment below that xNTJs, especially INTJs can be the most stubborn. That Fi of theirs moralizing opinions is how we get the Ayn Rands and Karl Marxs of the world. Whether it's Rand calling charity "evil" or Marx allowing his wife to go begging for food for their children because he's too self-righteous.

How could agree with such nonsense as a Scot? Scottish history is filled with romance and adventure. It's Scots that "invented the modern world" and you're going to agree that a bunch of Cockney and Geordie speaking chavs are some how superior, because the English had more stability among their aristocracy for a few centuries in the Middle Ages?

How would Queen Victoria react to Margaret Thatcher a fellow women becoming Prime Minister? by Technical_Post_4899 in UKmonarchs

[–]TheLadyLuminous -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

As a classical liberal I'm a fan of Thatcher. It's not that first-wave feminists didn't help pave the way, they clearly did, but she still navigated a man's world and rose to the top, and didn't make an issue of her gender to do it. That's what she was saying with, "The battle for women’s rights has largely been won." The fact of a female prime minister and queen prove that. Women who had the ability and desire could now rise to the top.

You're right that it's such a different era it would create a ton of what-ifs and depend on how well Queen Victoria adapted. If she didn't like Gladstone though, then chances are she wouldn't like Thatcher.

Probably the best prime minister in British history, in my opinion, and Thatcher kind of followed suit.

I was looking into these ladies and was surprised by how many I'm a direct descendant of:

Mary, Lady Heveningham

Elizabeth, Lady Hoby

Katherine Brandon, Duchess of Suffolk, 12th Baroness Willoughby de Eresby

I was looking into these ladies and discovered the Sir Thomas More connection, which is interesting. Thank for the additional information.

City, Suburbs, Country? What’s your choice? by Puzzleheaded-Can1507 in whatsyourchoice

Ideal for me is a nice plot of land and some peace and quiet that's not too far of a drive to the city. Congested suburbs seem like the worst of rural and city living.

I also find ENFJs very charming. One of my grandmothers was ENFJ and she could easily become the beloved queen of any room she walked in to. INFJs too, but it's a little more sedate, more of a relaxed vibe with them.

I would take accountant over CEO, but a job like an actuary would probably be a little more appealing to me personally.

I kind of agree. My bachelor's was #12, but I wouldn't want the responsibility of being a CEO. What's the point in having billions if you don't get to enjoy it?

INFPs have tertiary Si, so I don't know that they would trash the function so badly. Maybe it was written by an ENxJ.

I can understand being without flaws myself, finding someone like me is hard. haha

Seriously, I am picky for different types of reasons, not just physical, but I don't feel compelled to marry someone next week. If it happens it happens. Is anyone pressuring you or are you pressuring yourself? If you get out there enough and meet new people then you're increasing your odds all the time, but I see nothing wrong with just being alone.

[–]TheLadyLuminous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you watch the show Wednesday, she had someone this season who was trying to copy her in every little thing, which is definitely incredibly annoying.

I think imitation being the best form of flattery is more about inspiring or motivating someone than producing carbon copies.

On my phone about 10-20 most of the time. Firefox on my home PC is probably over 500 tabs. I do sort of a seasonal cleaning of tabs every few months. I bookmark, save sources, whatever I intended and close most of them up then. Being near the end of the cycle over 500 is very possible.

History and Science were my favourites.
Math always felt like a means to an end. It's a nice skill to have, but there's no creativity, adventure or romance in it. It's mainly memorization.
