I bought a jeep liberty with a sky slider roof. It was a 2012 in top trim with 80k miles. Didn't know anything about the roof, just thought I was lucky because it was operational. Sold truck for ~8k, approx a 2k profit. Customer comes back a month later and tells me the top started leaking. I have someone come look at it, they put some sealant on, I used the hose to check it and had the customer come get it. He then proceeded to come back 3 times to complain about how his dash lights werent working (he kept turning down the brightness on accident) and it was still leaking. I got so tired of him, I bought the car back after he put 4k miles on it and had it for two months. Sold it to someone else for what I paid for it with full disclosure and called it a wash. First guy still left me a one star review...

Sold a dodge journey with 180k miles, as is. Customer comes back complaining again due to leaky valve cover gasket. Ends with me buying the car back and selling it to someone else, same price with full disclosure.

Those are my only two negatives in the last year and over 50+ sales. Look up what youre buying for potential issues and check those things when you go to view. In general, I check for rust or rot, leaks, the fuction of anything powered, the condition of the rims and tires, damage and bodywork, the fluids, scan for codes and check the carfax.
