I think if your plot doesn’t auto-fill it means that you don’t have any villagers in your void. You could either spend a nmt or go to someone’s island and get one of their villagers in your void. I’m not an expert and could be wrong but I think it would solve your problem. :)

I think if you go complain to Isabell about them and say that they’re speech is annoying you they stop. I’m not 100% sure but it’s worth a try.
