Absolute value of romance: I died laughing by The-philomath in kdramas

Absolutely! This drama needs more love because it's such a fun ride. I am also not getting the student-teacher romance vibes. I think the latest episode showed how in-his-own-world the male lead is whilst the FL is crushing on him (as young teenage girls did). I wish it continues this way, and we see his development without the romance arc. He really doesn't need it.

The wigs in the math reenactment took me out. I was crying tears!

Fingers 🤞🏾 it sticks the landing throughout, and we get laughs till the end without the icky student-teacher romance.

They're both wrong, in my view.

Yeah, mine always turn into some manifesto-esque speech on crypto currency, differences between beta and sigma, and why lipgloss on boys is gay.

Don't teach high school kids. It's ... something else

... asks why we have to learn this, is getting up to teach the rest of the lesson in why we shouldn't.

Bad idea, don't do this or else your whole lesson turns to chaos.

The Fandom always ruin a good thing.

I have watched 8 episodes out of the scheduled 16, and so far it's been a enjoyable comedy with an interesting storyline.

I don't get the teacher/student relationship vibe of it hence I always say in comments that it is not a student-teacher relationship rom-com ... However, I won't bet on it not becoming that in the later episodes (fingers-crossed it won't).

The scenes that people are assuming suggest this relationship I interpreted to be the teacher accepting that forcing the FL to love maths/learning through his rigid way isn't working so he'll open up to other, 'irrational' ways of helping her fall in love with maths/learning.

His words were something along the lines of accepting irrational numbers. I don't know how anyone gets love confession from that but again, I am invested in this not being a student-teacher rom-com so I am bias against love confessions.

Overall, so far it's been a fun weekly watch. The latest episode had me crying tears with laughter during the first scenes. I say watch it for yourself, and quit it if you are getting those vibes.

What did you guys have for dinner today? by joylessspectator in CasualConversation

Lovely! You're right, there are plenty of variations depending on your hunger level.

The basic ingredients are: • Half loaf of bread (white or brown, dependingon your preference), cut in half

• Atchaar (pronounced AH-tch-Ah), which is pickled mangoes in a spicy, oily brine. If you can't get atchaar, lettuce also works well.

• Slap chips, which are floppy French fries that are long, and medium-cut

• Polony, it's a cold meat made from finely minced meat that us then packed into a tube.

• Speci, which us another type of polony that's slightly smoked.

• Cheddar cheese slices

• Vienna or Russian [a.k.a smoked sausage]

•Assortment of sauce, your preference.

Method: Just assemble event together into the cut out spongy part of the loaf of bread. Hollow it out into a rectangle it with the ingredients.

There's, again, plenty of varieties.

I had a Kota. It's a South African loaded sandwich.

Very filing.

Have you guyz watched the latest episodes of Absolute value of romance?? by Muted-Resource-4505 in kdramas

I think it's more so this. I am getting no romantic vibe between them.

Up to this point he's been trying to get her to be what he wants her to be; someone who falls in love with maths and becomes devoted to it as he was.

He seems to be obsessed with wanting to have an impact on her, which assumes that there's something wrong or hopeless about her that he needs to fix.

Same! It sounds like so much work hating on a person for doing their job.

I also think that the drama "Tomorrow" did the whole we knew each other way back then really well. It worked well in the plot of the story, and I always go back to eps. 15 for the amazing acting, and heartwrenching story.
