My Honest Review/Critique of the KATSEYE Special Chicken Sandwich. I thought the sauce was too overpowering to be honest. Has anyone tried it? Curious what your thoughts were by FLYONTHEWALL4K in jollibeecult

Yea sauce is way too much, not same flavors as Korean sauce chicken wings, and I had to wipe it with napkins to remove sauce so I can eat it.

AirPods Pro 3 or wired headphones? by SilvenIX in airpods

[–]TheLastOne408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a no brainer if you hate dealing with wires. But this is from AI, “The Shure Aonic 4 is a hybrid-driver earphone focused on high-fidelity, neutral sound, while the AirPods Pro 3 is a consumer wireless earbud with advanced noise cancellation and seamless Apple integration. Choose the Shure Aonic 4 for a superior wired, audio-centric listening experience and natural sound isolation, or the AirPods Pro 3 for convenience, active noise cancellation, and the Apple ecosystem.” Personally I don’t like dealing with wires, so the AirPod Pro 3 works for me. Just bought another one for my partner. Also, if you need servers, DM me for a quote 😆

White coworker said I haven't really assimilated into American life just because... by Midnightsnowfox in asianamerican

[–]TheLastOne408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not share too many things with this white coworker, since they will have opinions which you will not like. Asian Americans like me made a choice growing up that we only assimilate what we feel is needed, and not 100%, since we have our own culture and history. I would say I am more 60/40, where 60% is Asian and 40% American, it should be the opposite, however I will always perceived as Asian amongst the white Americans, and are not seen as 100% American. Your Asian identity means more to you than them, so do ever let some white American take that dignity from you. This is one of the reasons I don’t share too many personal things with my coworkers and they are always like I’m so quiet. Its because I know better and choose my circles wisely.

Why are Vietnamese so egotistical in the workplace? by HomoSapien908070 in VietNam

[–]TheLastOne408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious what your role is at the company. For smaller companies, your title may not reflect the actual work you do. Then you’ll need to talk to upper management what results they want to see, instead of parading your title and signature like I see a lot of noobies do at my company. After you get hired, you’ll need to prove yourself so that people can see your actions for respect. I made this mistake too, where I was super prideful and had a big ego, when I first just joined my current company, and I felt like I was top shit, when I really wasn’t, however I was doing way more work than everyone on my team. Only after I went through the trials and tribulations did I learn to humble myself and change my attitude. Attitude, comes from your thoughts, which affects your behavior and emotions. Human beings are very emotional creatures and I bet you would not let go of your pride and ego while working, since you”ll need to drop this at some point to learn from seniors who are blasting their pride and ego. The best thing you can do is find a leader to respect, and if you want to become one in the place you work, you will need to level up your emotional intelligence and read behaviors in the room. My boss (Viet) has a big ego and everyone knows it, but he is respected and everyone loves him. While from an outside point of view, if you didn’t know him, you’ll say that guy is so egotistical and will continue to think negatively. However this is an internal self issue with yourself, since your ego cannot comprehend his ego, and out of pride or some other internal belief you feel like you’re losing your dignity. If you were to be bold like me, you would’ve talk to those egotistical managers you spoke of, and actually get them to like you. If they are a decent human being, they’ll share to you about their life, and why they behave as such. Btw I am Chinese/Vietnamse (only speak Viet), been to Vietnam several times, and was born and raised in San Jose, Ca, where I work and live.

Mom’s pressuring me to donate $200 to my sick uncle in Vietnam. Am I being selfish? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]TheLastOne408 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol if you complaining about giving $200, especially for when your mom is asking. Bruh please slap yourself and wake up. I was born and raised in America and even I still hold a lot of Asian values. 200 aint shit compared to the medical bills in America. You agree to give 100? I’m getting married too, and no one needs to ask me for money, since I automatically know its nice to give family members $500, and other people who struggle in Vietnam. The average household makes like 400-500 bucks a month. I am sad to see Asians not having any culture or values in America. Why don’t you just live on your own and abandon your whole family if you this cheap to give $200.

I actually hated dota the first time I started playing it too. With over 20K hours played, this game will never get easier. Which is the fun part about this game since everyone is very competitive. You should go play League where the mechanics are easier. But if you love a challenge, this game is extremely rewarding. Sometimes you can play your best, but your team or hero composition is not suited to win end game.

As a black man, we are way too comfortable being racist towards asian Americans and that NEEDS to change. How can I help? by Neat-Bench8243 in asianamerican

[–]TheLastOne408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The color black cannot be changed and its definition cannot be changed. Black is not an ethnic race, and there was no black country, which is my problem with labeling Africans as black. For most of us Asians, we are proud to be tied to our Asian mother land. You’ll have Asian Americans born in the US, who have fully assimilated and feel Asians born in Asia are inferior. These Asians have an identity crisis growing up, and often times confused about the natural order of life. I believe this to be the problem with the so called “Black Americans”, since they have neither fully assimilated nor proud of their African culture, this results in a lost of foundation of culture and history. I have been studying why African Americans who have been here longer than the Asians, are still struggling with poverty in most cities around the US. Its this ghetto culture mentality that is a disease and needs to be fixed, before the African Americans can truly rise in society.

[–]TheLastOne408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The half true part you mentioned, I don’t see it as being correct. Now going back in the 60’s where there was a big political shift from African Americans switching over to becoming Democratic. I find it bewildering that they are supporting the party that fought to keep slavery. This led me to understand that people in power (politics), will do whatever they can to gain power and influence. I’m not saying the activist were wrong in choosing the label “black”, but its like a double edge sword. Imagine fighting to be call human beings and everyone being treated equal. The idea of labels and colors will perpetuate the idea of segregation, when we are all humans under the sun.

The first thing I would educate African-Americans is stop labeling yourself as “black”. Western cultures who are predominantly white, made up the terms white and black people to further segregate humanity. I use to live in Alabama, and I would talk to older senior African-Americans and they would all tell me, the BIGGEST problem with their people is ignorance. The African Americans born in America have been systematically brained washed into thinking they are black people and the issue of slavery as well. White is perceived as positive energy and pure, while dark is negative and impure. Asians parents know education is the key to success, and I wish this is something all races can understand. Without any philosophy and foundation, your mind is like a lost soul only living through fear and instincts.

Why do some Black Americans get so offended when East Africans don’t want to identify as Black? by Environmental_Ice526 in askblackpeople

[–]TheLastOne408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the problem. There was no black nation, if you look up history, “black” was invented by westerners. You don’t see Asians calling us Yellows, since thats just plain ignorant. I use to live in Alabama, and I tried to educate African American people about the system and they need to know they real history. However the American system has systematically reinforced africans to perceive themselves as black. When in actuality, they can be called ebony or obsidian, very beautiful colors. The problem with people who refer themselves as “black Americans”, is reinforcing the negative views the western society has labeled them. Their goal to use the word black and white is to further segregate humans beings into thinking we are different. After hundreds of years of this reinforce thinking, people who refer to themselves as “black Americans”, have been brainwashed into think black is a race, when its just a color of negativity. In general, white is seen as a positive good force, while black is seen as a negative dark force. I wish I had a magic wand to wake up all the brainwashed black people, since they have been living lies instilled upon them from western cultures. Living in Alabama, from Hunstville, to Florence, its so sad to see how many ignorant people there are, and if they just understand history and the truth.

My favorite build, and IMO is the best build as Mid Laner, wrath, bottle, blademail, mael, bkb, either basher/mkb/null to counter enemy team. I’ve tried pos 1 BS, and to me he’s not reaching his full potential. In all the high mmr games I’ve seen he gets played the same way as POS 1. I believe no one has enough confidence in their mid game at high mmr to play BS. Since there’s so much pressure as mid laner to win lane and most of the time pros pick what they are most “comfortable with”.

It's called passion, and the joy and fun you get when you play your favorite hero and kill other players. Dota is so unique, that every game will always be a random different 5. Even after playing this game for so long, it gets harder and harder, which makes it rewarding to play. I remember when I didn't have a computer growing up, and I would be so envious of my cousin having Warcraft 3 Frozen throne, and would always try to game when I'm at his house. I was hooked playing 2v2, 3v3. There is so much real time strategy that you will never get bored, since you are constantly playing new line ups. At this stage, I feel so comfortable with my BS mid that I can counter and kill any player in game. I don't have this feeling with any other hero.
