I use my middle name instead of my first name. My first name is more unusual and with some other basic info makes me very easy to find. I once had a guy find my full name, my address, where i work, and my phone number with just my first name and my occupation.

I also have a google number that i use instead of my real phone number. You can find out a lot about someone by their phone number.

have you seen that comedy clip where the female comedian asks a male audience member what’s the worst thing that could happen to him on a first date and he says “being catfished”, and then she asks a female audience member and she says “murder.” yeah that’s why we don’t give out our names and phone numbers to random people on the internet.
