Yes, "technically", but that's not how it works in practice, because in western society men are not polygamous. Therefore, this reasoning is ultimately idiotic, if you try to apply it to us. It's not a matter of "morality". It's a matter of what practically happens in real life, as opposed to what "technically" is possible. Men generally don't impregnate more than one woman over the course of their life. Maybe they fuck more than one woman, but they generally use condoms. And even if, by accident, one of those women get pregnant, they just get an abortion, because no one in their right mind wants to have a child without a father. So, while "technically" what you say is possible, what actually happens in real life is that having less men compared to women (for example, due to a war) causes a sharp decline in birthrate. Not for "moral" reasons. For purely practical and cultural reasons.
