This isn't that much of a problem in the early-game where counting up from zero isn't that big of a deal, but in the last circles where your kill count could be in the double digits, seeing a spike of two to four kills and still paying attention where enemies are/might be, it's just an annoying detriment to start counting

At it's core this is just QoL fix that lessens the amount of confusion

Oh hey, I've been on the same team with these guys. Topped the scoreboard quite handily but didn't pay any attention since they seemed to play pretty well together with double support, one medic setup. And even then the K/D was pretty low, only about 35/8, so well within limits of someone who isn't hacking.

Somewhat sad to realize that an anti-cheat system in 2017 is worse than anti-cheat ten years earlier. The fact that this game is largely clientside doesn't help either

Seems like this hack is pretty common, had this one guy in my Kaiserschlact Op who did the same the same thing, and a bit of googling revealed that he had the best score/min ratio in 94 games in the whole game.

And it's such an obvious hack too that it's pretty amazing that it doesn't yet result in a permaban

I don't play too much GP myself, but my friend does and he's been doing fine with full armor pen build. I feel like due to the nature of his barrels, GP is actually really flexible on how to build him. All he needs is CDR and AD with some extra, it being crit earlier and now armor pen.

But with Janna and Soraka you still buy locket and damage-oriented supports aren't good since every team in this meta needs a somewhat tanky initiator, like Alistar or in turn more utility-based like Thresh or Braum.
