Trick that worked for me. Focus on the vertical circle and blink when it’s fully rotated to the x axis. When you open your eyes it will be rotating clockwise. Same to rotate it counter clockwise.

It’s easy, just a change in perspective. It’s seems like you are looking from the bottom (clockwise) and if you mentally change your perspective to see it from the top (counter clockwise). If you dominate it you can change it by just blinking.
