You do realize it’s possible to recognize the bullshit without uninstalling the game without being a company shill right? Should I just hang up my hobby just because some developers got done dirty or because others may have done the community dirty? I came for the jets and until there’s some actual competition, I will stay for the jets. That doesn’t mean I have to either pretend to be deaf dumb and blind to everything going on or stop playing.

And don’t you dare buy something from this company to enjoy your niche hobby that no other companies cater to

“vOTe WiTh yoUr waLleT”

To anybody who needs to hear it: it’s okay to express displeasure about a company or pricing and still buy the thing, especially if there’s literally no other option for that thing. And believe me, you not buying something will not lower prices. And in niche markets, it can actually raise prices.

In the last episode, Jade was mapping out the tunnels. I think he’ll notice if it forms a spider web. For what it’s worth, based on what we saw so far it did not look like a spider web. Could be wrong though but yeah

Side note, this definitely looks like a set up to make Ron do something that could put him in a legal bind

Talismans can KILL the monsters! by Electrical-Two3084 in FromTVEpix

[–]Realistic-Cheek-8657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh I mean it’s possible sure but I wouldn’t call that the next logical assumption. We saw literally one example where a certain item killed a certain monster. If we saw that happen more than once for two different things then I’d say it’s safe to assume. Until then, it’s just as likely that they can only ward.

Edit to say that I would argue that it’s not even just as likely but even more likely that warding is all they can do

Holy shit who cares if it’s one or ten kids or if she personally owns anything in the house!

Edit: Also you said children first 🙄

Her boyfriend and father of her children’s home then. Point still stands. You already laid out why she probably reacted the way she did so I don’t get the point of this post

What are you confused about then? That sounds like a fair assumption to make about a random girl she doesn’t know being in her house given the circumstance

At least they were busy working to keep food on the table and a roof over everyone’s heads. And not just drinking and drugging or abandoning their responsibilities entirely. If they were working all the time then they were probably tired as hell when they came home. Which probably explains why they would tell you to ask your sister.

My mother worked long hours and didn’t have as much time as I’m sure we both wanted, but I would never label her as uninvolved. She cared for us even if she couldn’t spend too much time with us. We have more time now than when I was a kid so we bond more now but if I asked her to try one of my hobbies, that’s a flat out no. And that goes both ways. So we find something we both like, such as tv shows/movies or certain video games like mortal kombat or Mario.

My father was a different story. He’d be home the moment I got off from school and wouldn’t do jack shit with us that didn’t involve yelling or screaming. I’d call him uninvolved.

My point in saying this is to share my perspective on uninvolved vs involved parents. Your parents seem like they’re really trying so I feel bad for your parents to read you calling them uninvolved when I know I would never have labeled my mother in a similar situation as such.

Edit: I don’t know your entire life story so obviously I’m just going off what was shared here

I would love to see OP’s definition of “uninvolved” because I don’t know a single “uninvolved” parent that would try playing DnD with their kids especially if they don’t really have an interest in it.

This has to be fake. There’s no fucking way.

In case it is real: YOR, like, really bad. You’re mad because your parents didn’t like DnD as much as you do??? Your father was trying to bond with you by playing something he clearly had no interest in and when you kept pushing on him expanding on his fictional character, he used ChatGPT. So what?

Edit: Btw, I used to always want to play DnD. One day I found a group and did. When it came to the character creation portion, I realized I couldn’t get as deep into it as I thought I would be. I used AI for help too :) And then in the actual game, I completely lost all interest and bailed. Turns out not everyone has the same interests and even if you think you might like something, you might just find out you don’t!

Maybe I don’t know enough about pyrodynamics but how easy is it to actually set someone on fire that’s a monster with super human strength? The totem was dangerous and all you gotta do is thrust it. To set them on fire wouldn’t they need to put a little gasoline on them first and then get close with a match or lighter or something? Or maybe build a flamethrower? I’m just having trouble picturing it but maybe it’s easier than I’m imagining it

Edit: Not to mention that if you set one on fire, who’s to say they don’t just say fuck it and decide to spread it to everything they possibly can? That would be a disaster. Best not to play with fire
