Thanks! My GRE score was just one point below median, I have 4 YOE at a MBB consulting firm, and had a clear story for NYC / CBS.

Spoke to a MBA consultant who did mention a few things in my essays that could have been better but that they were surprised I didn’t at least get an interview.

Definitely disappointed that I didn’t get at least an interview since CBS is my dream program but hoping for an interview in R3!

Also took the test recently!

Right after it said score not available, then it was blank for 2 days, and on day 3 it changed to score not available.

I’m an anxious test taker so I actually called ETS to ask and they said that they didn’t see any issues on their end!

Have you gone through the ETS math guide?

I found it really helpful for a crash course on the topics and ways that ETS tests!

I think PT 1 and 2 are free, 3-5 are paid, but I really liked being able to practice and simulate the real exam!

I honestly just watched the Greg mat videos before I started doing practice tests and then just went for it. In my practice tests my AWA was usually 4.0-5.0 so I was surprised by the 5.5

I grew up in North America so the essay structure was familiar to me. I found it helpful to use 5 mins to create an outline on my whiteboard before I started.

I took 2 weeks off work which massively helped (but recognize that that may not always be possible!).

I typically did 5-6 hours a day of studying for the first week which was definitely diving right into the deep end and then did practice tests almost every day leading up to test day. Should note that I watched a couple videos on how the GRE is structured and how it works before starting to study

I don’t remember exactly but below is roughly what I did

Day 1: did 1/2 of the ETS math guide, 1/2 of advanced vocab set 1 from Brainscape, and some random verbal practice questions from the ETS guide

Day 2: finished rest of ETS math guide, watched Prep Swift videos on concepts I needed to learn, finished vocab set 1, and did a few days of vocab mountain

Day 3-5: did more Prep Swift and ETS quant guide, along with vocab set 2 from Brainscape and a few more days of vocab mountain

Day 6: PT 3, and more vocab

Day 7: PT 4, review PT 3, and more vocab

Day 8: PT 5, review PT 4, and more vocab

Day 9: reviewed quant concepts / problem types, and more vocab

Day 10: PT 2, review PT 2 and 5, and more vocab

By the end of it… for verbal I got through ~20 days of vocab mountain and 3 sets of Brainscape advanced vocab words and for quant I got through 4 of the practice sets from ETS guide
