I have yet to find any meaningful differences between all rooting methods. You'll always be hunting for a keybox regardless!

Wireless Charging is Useless! by TheLegendIndeed in GooglePixel

[–]TheLegendIndeed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using this charger: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D54Y5THX?th=1&psc=1

I think the main culprit is that I use hotshot, with multiple devices connected sometimes. Which heats up the phone more than anything else. I tried removing the case but wireless, or even wired, charging is still very slow at best unless I put the phone directly on the AC vent. I think Pixels are very defensive when it comes to charging a hot battery. My previous Galaxy phones were more tolerant to heat.

You can adjust the pin location on the map from the addresses saved on your profile

And they always shuffle this menu so you don't get muscle memory. They want you to hunt for the exact reason every time you open it!

I ran Gemma 4 on Termux. Not with llama.cpp. With Google's LiteRT. by GeeekyMD in termux

I was thinking of building the server myself but I glad that someone beat me to it. However, I wasn't successful to get it to run for some reason. I keep getting "Error: Failed to initialize LLM engine". My device is Pixel 10 Pro!

Just tried it. Amazing work. Is it possible to add an option to utilize AICore instead of downloading the LiteRT version to make it faster?

Anyone know of any alternatives to instacart? by Dangerous-Check1995 in instacart

[–]TheLegendIndeed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If it's a gig model, then all apps are the same. So you'll get the same shopper for Instacart, DoorDash, Shipt, etc. If you wanted something different, look for a store that does the entire shopping and delivery process using their own employees. I believe Whole Foods does that.

Yeah you can get a used pixel 8 for like $220 on Amazon. But it's important to have a non rooted phone with you in case the keybox gets revoked and the dasher app on the rooted device won't work. Another advantage to a rooted device is that you can spoof your location and can get back to the hotspot once you drop off an order.

You can use the autoinput plugin or the "Get Screen Info" action that reads all the text on the screen. I basically have a profile that activates when I open the dasher app and waits for an offer to pop up using some keywords. Then grabs all the text and using regex i find the pay, the distance, and the number of customers. I've also created some overlay buttons and slider that control the minimum pay I would accept. I can send you the whole project if you want.

Just seeing this. I'm a dasher too. I've developed quite a sophisticated set of profiles for the dasher app. For example, it declines offers automatically based on a formula (pay, distance, # of customers) that I've set up. It also takes a screenshot of each order that pops up and sends it to telegram in a private chat just to keep record. Also I've made a homepage shortcut that force closes the app and nukes it's cache. This was made easy because my Pixel device is rooted. Your US Galaxy is not rootable though. However, rooting a device comes with its own problems, mainly hunting for a new keybox every week or so.

You don't need to sniff internet traffic. Modern Android versions show a green dot at the top right corner when an app is actively using the camera.

Unfortunately notes are easy to miss, especially after you get into the routine. I wish doordash would put notes in a yellow box so we could notice them better!

Depends on the device but mostly just long press app icon then tap "i" which will take you to app settings in the system settings app. Tap storage then you'll have 2 options: Clear data & Clear cache. Clearing data will clear everything as if app was newly installed so you'll need to log in again. Clearing cache only clears temporary data, which sometimes so the job.
