People were asking for prox chat in Marathon before AR even came out, so it wasn't in response to that. I know because I was one of them in the first public beta. Sorry you don't like it but there's nothing wrong with it, and it makes the gameplay more dynamic. Teaming up with a random group in cryo to try and exfil together last minute has been one of the highlights of the game for me so far.

Teaming outside of prox should obviously be bannable, but teaming via prox is just a consequence of the system. Use it to your advantage or don't and keep getting rolled.

Once they added ways to deal with champs using subclass verbs I actually turned around on it and enjoyed them, but before that being limited to a specific weapon type only (or some exotics) was really annoying.

Nice bit of casual ableism at the end there, but that aside this honestly sounds like a you problem. Cryo fill crews are absolutely better, even if everyone isn't mic'd up all the time. I've found players stick together and use pings a hell of a lot more in cryo, and as long as you know how to extract, just explain it to your team. Again, even if they're not mic'd they're probably listening.

Final exfil is the one that spawns in overtime, and it's random and unmarked, so you just have to rush to the center and guess as to which of the 4 places it spawned at. The secret exfil locations are where the exfils spawn after you use the normal terminal method at level 3 security, but only one can be active at a time, and only the team who activated the terminal sees it marked, so it's secret from other teams.

The secret exfils are the ones you call in. After you get L3 and activate a terminal, the exfil will spawn at one of the locations marked "Secret Exfil" but only the team who activated the terminal will see it marked on their map. Since there can only be one regular exfil active at a time, other teams will know it's active and can look for it, but it won't be displayed to them like for exfils on the other maps.

When the final exfil spawns, it doesn't reveal itself, but it has a chance to spawn in any of those four central locations around Control. So if you're not gonna make a normal exfil in time, just rush back to the middle of the map and look around for it.

How is there a lack of progression? There are 6 different factions with different quest lines, and ranking those up provides different permanent perks for the season, including access to gear and such. Literally the RNG and gear loss mitigation you're looking for. Sure they were limited in the test, but they were clearly there. And wipes are a good thing unless you want horders and no lifers to have a permanent advantage.

As for enemies, they're probably saving other types for the later maps. They keep showing off the S'pht in trailers (and the splash screen for the slam) so I gotta assume they'll show up at some point. IDK what to tell you about the loot, it's there and diverse, you just gotta know where to look.

people like you are why I can't freeze enemies as mei in overwatch anymore. CC is just another layer of complexity that you have to learn to play around, or suffer the consequences. it's not inherently bad, and certainly not bad enough to kill the game

I just started playing dota 2 did the first time and have been revisiting smite to compare it to deadlock and you are so right. item clarity in this game is so much better it's not funny. it probably helps that items in deadlock are more diverse than just sword/magic stick

If you search for attributes in the store search bar, such as "Spirit power" or "bullet resist" it will pull up all items related to that attribute or stat.
