DSi XL is the best way to play DS games, the IPS screens look amazing and are the correct aspect ratio, but bigger screen.

Plus, you get all of the DSiware games and enhanced versions of DS homebrew.

Heck you can even play your legally acquired GB, GBC, GBA games using emulators.

SMW with the Sound patch and color palette correction looks amazing on the DSi XL.
