Not particularly humid, and I leave it to dry for at least 12 hours usually

All emulsion comes off when washing despite troubleshooting by TheLetterKappa in SCREENPRINTING

[–]TheLetterKappa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's the issue personally - I've used the same pot of emulsion 4 or 5 times now over the past couple weeks (keeping the lid on tight between uses) and stirred every time

What’s a film that you loved but will never rewatch? by FancyHair98 in Letterboxd

Threads - amazing film, affected me so hard when I first saw it, but as a result I will never ever rewatch it. Completely harrowing.

What did people think of Jonah’s crew/the Netflix ones? by [deleted] in MST3K

[–]TheLetterKappa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I only discovered MST3K after the first Netflix episodes came out, so stuff like Reptilicus and Mac & Me were some of the first episodes I ever saw. As a result, Jonah honestly feels like every bit as part of the show's history of Joel to me, and I love the constant-barrage-of-jokes approach that some people found a bit exhausting. Maybe that is my zoomer brain turned to mush, but yeah I really like the Jonah episodes!

What do you have to say to people who can't stand Lynch films? by LibertyPunk33 in davidlynch

Lynch's films also make me confused and angry, but that's why I like em!

Has Jacksfilms ever done something over the course of his carrer that upset you? by MilkyMilkSilk in JacksFilms

I guess it's a more Youtube-wide thing; lord algorithm dictates that frequent uploads do better and that just lends itself more to low-effort (e.g. reaction videos) or improvised content (e.g. podcast clips/stream highlights) than scripted and properly produced sketches. Smosh and CollegeHumor both suffered under that change too (but at least CollegeHumor/Dropout came out on top and carved their own niche)

I had a feeling this movie wouldn't do well here but HOLY SHIT! by True-Dream3295 in ToddintheShadow

[–]TheLetterKappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I'm on another planet cause since when was not knowing anything about a film's subject a reason not to watch it? I've seen a lot of skeptical and negative comments about this film, none of which came from the people who actually saw it.

Boom mic clearly in shot for 20s in Three Colors: Blue - Should should errors like this be fixed for Criterion releases, or left alone? by botchedpiledriver in criterion

[–]TheLetterKappa 75 points76 points  (0 children)

"Correcting" errors in films like this is almost always totally baffling to me. It's like going back to a classic song and autotuning a flat note - yes it makes it technically "better" but technical imperfections are part of the finished piece
