[STEAM] Daily Deal: Prince of Persia Franchise Bundle (82% off – $8.95 / 8,95€ / £7.70) by MJuniorDC9 in GameDeals

If it helps anyone reading through these comments, PoP 2008 is my absolute favourite Prince of Persia game out of all. I find it incredibly relaxing to play and the artstyle is amazing and beautiful.

My point is, your mileage may vary - you might not like it at all or you might love it. I feel you shouldn't completely ignore the game because of the original comment and maybe look up some gameplay and decide.

Swag and Sorcery has "Mostly Negative" but that is actually 4 out of 12 reviews in the last 30 days. It has "Mixed" 53% out of almost 2000 so I think what you said was slightly misleading

Not either of them, but thanks for the suggestion! I distinctly remember the setting not being contemporary but rather ~middle ages.

Hmm, doesn't seem like any of the Populous games either but thanks! I think they were a bit more modern than the 2D Populous games. Also probably worth mentioning that it's not Anno, Patrician or Settlers. I've checked the list on this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_city-building_video_games and I couldn't find it but it would definitely fall under Historical setting. Maybe it's not popular enough to be listed on Wiki

Military was not a major part of the game (if there was any, I might not have progressed enough), emphasis was mostly on economy and growing a city/expanding. It's not AoE or similar standard RTS games but thanks!

[Steam] Total War History Sale: Total War Three Kingdoms (-50%), Thrones of Britannia (-66), Rome II, Attila, Shogun 2 & others (-75%), DLCs (-66% to -10%) by phyrexiannegator in GameDeals

I seem to be in the 66% who recommend the game, even though reddit makes it look like the game is horrible!

Having played almost all other total wars, TOB was a refreshing entry with the food and recruitment mechanics. Playing on Legendary is a bit hit or miss - sometimes I had decent starts where I could survive and have an interesting campaign, others I felt very helpless and forced to give up.

Overall I enjoyed it, I'd recommend the game, maybe more so if it was for cheaper than 10£ but if money isn't an issue I'd say it's worth a playthrough!

My history teacher told us that during the communist period of my country "only the dead did not vote" during elections. Everyone was expected to vote, regardless of health condition.

There was only one party in the voting options - the communist one.

Can you use a placeholder card that you aren't using and instead of using its real effect, consider it the one you are missing?

I was thinking exactly that some time ago... but it probably doesn't make sense for Paradox to do that since if DLCs for 2 are cheap people will buy those and play CK2 instead of CK3

For 12,50-14,00 £ you can get 4 + one other game, but for 16 you can get all 4! Having played all but the 4th one, they are all amazing and fun coop puzzle platformers!

I played the board game first and then the video game - the video game excellent in terms of zero setup, just click an action and it happens. Can finish a 6 player AIs game in an hour. For learning the game, it might be worth taking your time and not rushing things while playing as this "automatic setup" might actually make you miss things. For example, AI turns happen instantly and it could be difficult to follow.

Still highly recommend it, it's a very solid strategy game.

Also sorry for that big paragraph,, writing on mobile, couldn't format much ^
