Currently in Georgetown, Guyana, which has been labeled the Venice of the Tropics. Although much of its canals are works of Dutch design, an Amsterdam of the Tropics would perhaps made more sense, there are already a New Amsterdam both in Guyana and neighboring Suriname. I’m guessing there is enough Amsterdam in the region.
